Definitely me and my dad laying on the hardwood having a catnap in the sun coming through the front window. Not sure why, but I always think of that.

Camping trips come a close second...

When we lived in Hawaii and he would bring me to school on his motorcycle on his way to the Naval Base. Another is when he put me on his shoulders and we watched Mt. Kilauea erupt, that was by far the coolest thing I have ever seen is a volcano erupt. Also all the trips to countless battleships and airplanes I have been on. But their are a lot of memories those are just some.

Either going on an E.T. ride at Disney Land/World//one of those or singing "Time of the Season" by the Zombies in the car, and pointing to him when they asked "Who's your daddy?" which I'm not quite sure was appropriate..gag Probably the second one.

Fishing in a little lake out in Virginia when I was a kid. We camped there often. Caught my first bass there. Good times.

Wow when I read your topic name I almost cried, my father is still alive, but nostalgia can do that.

Well anyway, probably when he would take all of us kids out to eat or just to a library the car rides were the greatest part of it, he always had the oldies station on with bands like the beatles, the zombies, beach boys, etc. I doubt he realises how much those little things meant to us, but they really did mean a lot. He is a good man, and a good father despite his flaws. Wish I could say this stuff to him, instead of just the internet, but that's just how I am.
