I hope you all watched Utakoi like I told you to, because it's time for our first Crunchyroll POETRY SLAM ~ ! ( No, we aren't playing Karuta XD )

There's love in the air here at the Crunchyroll offices ~ And it's all because we've been watching Utakoi ~ ! To keep the positive vibes flowing, we could really use some beautiful POETRY TO READ. This is where you guys come in! Since we don't think it's practical to read 6,389,4389 Robert-Frost-length poems, we're going to ask you all to write some traditional Haiku instead!

Specifically, write some LOVE HAIKU, based on one of the following Crunchyroll titles :

Chihayafuru

We will select ONE Grand Prize Winner who will receive a set of KARUTA CARDS. So they can slap them around ~ ! XD

We will also have 4 runner ups, who will receive 90 day premium memberships ~ ! ( Can you say PS3 APP? )

Try your best ~ ! Make sure the Haiku are LOVELY, ROMANTIC, and above all VERY INSPIRED by either Utakoi or Chihayafuru ~ !

Probably should describe how to write and sentence structure of a haiku to those that don't know,

The black pools of fall,
and snows of winter meadows,
make spring roses bloom.
