Seems only fair to submit only one entry, so that is what I will do. And yes, Chihayafuru is currently one of my top animes of all time. Sket Dance is also in that mix, but neither has quite reached the level of Hikaru no Go just yet. :)

In the sweep of a card
Wind takes and bears my whispers
Trough the bonds of time

I'm not sure wether or not we can post more than one entry,nor if the Haiku has to follow the older stricter rules,so I'll post a second entry.If ever we can submit only one though,I'd prefer the first one to be taken :)

As cards blows sweet winds
Our minds from far deep connect
With our pounding hearts

My Haiku: inspired by Utakoi: ( Episode 5 – Eastward Ono no Komachi )

Part I:

It was two men and
a maiden, as we watched her
grow with laughs and love.

Part 2:

But alas it ends
our childish love, as we join
the moon and the stars.

I really loved chihayafuru if i could get a set of card translated with the poem that would be nice to play otherwise just for the fun of owning a japanese deck would be nice im going to start watching Utakoi now

Actually this would be wrong. The first line needs five syllables the second line seven syllables then the last line five again.
