For a college student (me) that's in a budget....

Instant ramen, such as Maruchan, is great. I believe it's 50c for 2 of those little cups, and I just heat some water and make two to fill me up.

Then add Hot Sauce.
Tasty.

Don't know why we do, they are all loaded with MSG, which they've discovered is a major cause in many cases of alzheimer's, but we do.

It's almost as cheap as the water required to cook it and doesn't taste too bad.

cheaper to just buy eggs and flour and make them home made.
Chicken flavor is easy, just find somebody who orders KFC often. Ask if you can have the bones.
Boil the bones, add the ramen you made earlier, whalla, instant ramen.

1 cup of flour and 1 egg is enough to make like 4-6 meals, best if done with 4 eggs per 1 cup of flour. Taste is awesome, and you can make anywhere from 12 to 20 meals. dependens on how thin you make them.

Here, college meal plan for those low on cash.

36LBS= 144 cups. 144 cups = 576-864 meals.
144cup to 144 eggs = 12 dozen eggs.
A dozen eggs for my place is: $2.99 USD
12 dozen eggs is $35.88 USD.
Total cost: $83.87 USD or 0.15 to 0.10 cents per meal.

Even with no flavoring added, still makes great noodles. Much more healthier than the 50 cent packs or the 10 cent packs.

Ramen is... Okay. You gotta add beef eggs ad other stuff to it. I don't think anyone can be a super fan of store bought insta ramen after three six pack bags at the same time. Fucking ramen for a straight two weeks.

They taste better than proper noodles.

I'm no food taster... I can't tell the difference between "fine" food and normal people's food... but the normal people's food always taste better for me.

I ate almost nothing but instant Ramen's for lunch and dinner in my sophomore and junior years of high school. I don't know why - I was addicted to them and they were fast and easy.
We lived in the country so my bus ride was insanely long (1 hr 1/2) - I would do my homework on the bus, so my writing while moving is fantastic, but that is a different story. But by the time I got home, I had to fix something quick so I could go to work. And then usually after I got off at midnight, I would fix another one and then go promptly to bed.

Believe it or not, I lost about 30 lbs eating nothing but Ramen. (Freshman = 145 lbs, Sophomore = 115 lbs). By the time I was a senior, I don't know what changed but I rarely ate a Ramen since. Probably because I was working, I now had my own money to spend on fast food and junk food...

Anyways, wish that diet would work for me now...but I think I would probably die from the sodium intake.
