Basically. Each anime studios mentioned in the previous posts have offered us many great shows as well as a fair share of trash. But since KyoAni hasn't even produced 10 anim00z, I think it's ok to say KyoAni has the least flaws. It's consistent so far, at least. I mean, Air, Kanon, Clannad, FMP 2 (which was a much better series than the 1st), Haruhi, and K-On (although I know many will not agree) and now, Hyouka. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide And I swear to God I thought Kokoro Connect was also being handled by KyoAni. |

Not you co-signing a post that is against Clannad. Didn't know you were an anti. Glad you know the truth. |

I'm actually sort of glad they weren't produced by KyotoAnimation. Since Starchild Records is involved with Kokoro Connect, CR had a better chance of getting it and the series of course, is here I also got the feeling that Kyoto Animation was handling Kokoro Connect though. |

KyoAni does have a good track record BUT I still can't put them ahead of Madhouse, Bones, Brain's Base, Toei, Sunrise, Production I.G, Pierrot or Shaft. I could mention a few others but those are sure bets.

I can't tell if this is mockery or an applause. chrome_mist wrote: Basically. Each anime studios mentioned in the previous posts have offered us many great shows as well as a fair share of trash. B-b-but the statistics themselves are inconsistent and unreliable then. It's like comparing a studio who has done 50 works to a studio who has only created 5 works. The odds are against those who produced more shows. That's why criticizing each series as an individual from each studio works much better. |

I wasn't aware what a Starchild Records was until I double checked Kokoro Connect's production information. But then again, it's a music production company so I couldn't care less. Though SILVERLINK has made some really good titles! kufirst wrote: KyoAni does have a good track record BUT I still can't put them ahead of Madhouse, Bones, Brain's Base, Toei, Sunrise, Production I.G, Pierrot or Shaft. @Kufirst
I do recall reading some of Theron Martin's reviews of Clannad but I cannot pinpoint from my memory if I read Carl's. I just went back to skim through it - the reviews seems vaguely familiar so I think I might have read it at one point. |

And how in the world can you even consider the studios, I've mentioned and that you apparently rank lower than KyoAni, lesser studios? Plus, a lot of studios do work on one show so even if one show was the lead production studio that doesn't mean that other "lesser" studios didn't do work on it at some point. |

They're lesser studios because they're not KyoAni. Why are you even asking me that? And I bet 99.99% of the anim00z KyoAni was involved with worship it right now. |

I could mention a few others but those are sure bets. is this based on the anime in-themselves or the animation? Granted I'm not an expert on animation studios but when I see the "Bones" logo I know I'm in for something original in animation from them as opposed to Sunrise (even if they did make Cowboy Bebop) and Pierrot. You gotta admit Sunrise and Pierrot can be very hit and miss as opposed to KyoAni or Bones. links so you can compare animation Pierrot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_Pierrot Sunrise http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunrise_%28company%29 Bones http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bones_%28Animation_Studio%29 (not only that but I SWEAR bones picks up some of the most interesting series out there) Kyoto Animation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Animation unless you just don't care for that animation style - but even the backgrounds and the way people move in KyoAni anime just fit and move so well .... Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide oh and Clannad is the best shojou anime ever made - haters will hate and it will still be great |

Again, coming from two people who argue with each other about anime they haven't even seen.
Yeah, remember that little FMA v. Cowboy Bebop feud a while back? Hmm? Oh yeah, both of you should watch NANA. |
