Fairy Tail Episodes

Here in crunchyroll Fairy tail has at least episodes from 123-Latest but whats the purpose of "sealing" them after a certain time

As most of us know, Fairy tail is running on fillers at the moment so I didnt really bother to watch after the canon episodes but since the fillers would last longer than I expected I decided to give it a shot - only to find out theyre not available..

Whats the purpose behind it? Quite frankly I am slightly disappointed since I already paid for the one year fee only to find out that premium members also have limitations

Fairy Tail is rather unique in that since the first episode was made available on Crunchyroll, the license has only allowed them to keep episodes for 30 days. In addition, it was also restricted to premium members.

I am not certain why the page now shows more than the last 4 shows, but I am hopeful that means they are attempting to re-negotiate the license and want to be prepared if they succeed.

FYI, Funimation holds the license for the first two seasons (the second was licensed recently), so don't expect to ever see those episodes here.

Im not expecting anything below episode 122 - Im quite content with it

its just I find it very counter-productive to present the episodes and no one has access on it acting more of a display rather than a show

I hope they are attempting something about it before funimation grabs ahold of all the seasons because they might end up removing all of it...
