Stick my hand in the side and turn on the shower, get undressed, walk into the shower. Of course this is only the procedure for my own shower, other showers are a different matter and involves many more steps. For instance, does this new shower control temperature and pressure with one or two nobs.

I turn it on, grab my clothes from my room place them near the kitchen sink, undress, test the water, if its close I jump in and make adjustments as I see fit.
