Little Busters: Refrain. I was able to connect to it TOO much, being a highschool student with a group of friends. Not even Clannad was close to the level of it.

Understandable. I dont feel like you would fully connect with Clannad until you are a bit older. At 15, it's a bit hard to grasp what life would be like after high school, and heavier things like what it means to support a family ... I liked Little Busters a lot, but Clannad destroyed me.

0/10 You're a bunch of retards like there's no tomorrow.

Lol you two are so cute. Sound like a couple of ignorant little children. Clannad and everything else by Key is great. At least better than crap like Fate/Zero and Psycho-Pass...And it's clear to me that neither of you have ever actually watched any of them or you just didn't pay attention. Because they do not only focus on tugging your heart strings. All the feels are just a by product of the overarching plot with deep themes and meanings. And Nagisa is a great character, not all adults act the same, even better when they actually have their own personality which in Nagisa's case is innocence. And any one who wants to kill her is an awful person.

You know magical realism is a thing right? You know that genre where magicial properties are hinted at since the begging as an integral part of the show's world? Apparently you don't.

And most Key characters are most certainly not cliche. I'll give you a couple but all the main heroines are deep and complex. And only cliche on the surface with reasons for why they are that way. And you're using moe wrong just like every one else who hates Key uses moe wrong...

Thanks for the massive laugh I got when you defended this trash! Keep it up, 10/10

Grave of the Fireflies is my answer as well.

I have to space out my viewings by at least a year, due to the side effects of watching.

I've yet to experience something as crushing and hopeless, probably being the reason that I love it so much. haha

That said, Your Lie In April is the most emotional I've ever reacted to an anime. The sorrow, joy, and inspiration that that series made me feel is rivaled by none.

Aside from Clannad...

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia (the last few episodes and that music)
Ef - A Tale of Memories (that phone booth scene)
Myself ; Yourself ( I don't even know what it was but the tears were rolling)

I'll respond to the question twofold:

"Grave of the Fireflies" because it depicts hardships the japanese endured during the war, but it would have been a sad story no matter what, because it is real.

"Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions" This one made me cry (literally), it builds up as a standard "rom-com" anime but when you become invested in the story it serves a mouthful of "reality" and provides drama in a fashion that even Oscar-awarded movies cannot live up to.

Nothing is more embarrassing than your girl walking in just when the tears kick in, and you have to turn off Angel Beats and say "the steelers lost today..."
