"Yeah hime, and I don't think your dad would entirely mind." She insisted. "It would give you a chance to meet everyone too," She continued speaking to her while gently taking the napkin out of Tatsu's hands and wiping his mouth in between eats, "It wont just be boys too, we have a few girls in the gangs to, it's just an over all way to get acquainted with some people in town after the move. become less of a stranger ya know?" She finishes placing the napkin back into Tatsu's hand. "Tatsu don't get crumbs on her nice clean floor." she comments as if she already didnt know he was eating in the first place. "What flavor is that? barbeque?" looks like she really didn't take notice after all. "Anyways, do you want me to stay and help you get ready? Oh wait, I should probably get my pills if I'm helping you with your homework later....oh but that wont be any fun now would it. Come on Tatsu, you'll walk me home, I have some food that I don't like to eat to give to you. My mother buy's the strangest things. I mean she knows I don't like twinkies. Stupid American junk food." She grumbles quietly to herself and drags Tatsu out the door by his wrist. The footsteps got quieter the farther down the hall they went till the thunking of feet going down the steps followed. There was a pause and immediately the sound back tracked signaling one of them was coming back up. Soon Momo's head popped back in the doorway and she states "Oh and one more thing! We'll be back to pick you up at fiiiive mkaaay, it's some what of a walk!" Then she was gone as she quickly ran back down stairs.

(messy tatsu is a cute tatsu!)

_"Walk?" Kuuya chuckled quietly to himself. He glanced at Akiko, whom was staring at him intently as he pondered. She closed one eye as he gently pat her head. "Just be ready by five, Akiko-hime, kay? We're all going to have a great time. I'll see you then." He gave a small wink then headed out her bedroom door. Without his knowing, she followed him then stopped halfway down the stairs to watch him leave. After he left, closing the door behind him, a smile twitched onto Akiko's face as she turned to Peppers. She whispered as if it were her most precious, deepest, darkest secret, "I... I have friends. And I think they really like me." The small Chinchilla squeaked with warning then came closer to her neck, rubbing his forehead protectively against her.

_Akiko had managed to get most of her homework done before she had left school. She sat at her desk, finishing the rest; however, her mind was distracted by her little party. She had no idea what to wear; she couldn't wear her uniform even though it was the nicest thing she owned. After jotting down the last answer, she moved away from her homework and opened her closet. It held three T-shirts, two pairs of jeans, one ugly blouse, and an ugly skirt. She wondered why she still had the blouse and skirt, since neither her parents nor she liked it one bit. She tapped her chin and spun around on her heels as she thought of what to do. She lost her balance and wobbled around the room, falling onto her bed as an idea popped into her head.
_She lifted her mattress to reveal what made it so uncomfortable: a powder blue cloth wrapped a thick rectangular piece of cardboard. She dragged it out from its hidden spot then held it up to Peppers. The small Chinchilla opened one eye in disinterest then went back to his nap. As his master cheerfully went to work, he again opened his eye but only slightly. He watched as she snipped the basic shape of a dress twice, which was blob-like as if a small child had drawn it. As the minutes rolled past, she sewed the two pieces together with pasty pink thread. When she finished she trimmed the excess then turned the dress inside out now showing a more elegant shape.
_She fixed the hem of the dress, sleeved, and collar before realizing there was a hole on the left of the dress’ chest. She remembered taking a piece of the cloth to fix a tear in the couch downstairs. Groaning loudly, she flopped back onto the floorboards with the dress on her stomach. That was when she stared up into her closet and realized the extremely ugly blouse in her closet matched the thread she had used on the dress.

_ Akiko stood at her front door at exactly five o’ clock, checking out her window frequently. She tried to ignore the clock in her kitchen ticking by seven minutes. She knew it was unreasonable to expect someone to come right on the dot; she was simply too excited. Their lateness, though, gave her time to worry how the dress looked on her. Maybe it was tacky? Easily distinguishable as a product of her own hands? Maybe it wasn’t too late to slap on a T-shirt and jeans. As soon as her tender fingers touched her stairs’ railing, a car’s horn played a tune outside. She froze on the spot and waited a moment, moving to the door only when the horn blared once more.
_She opened her front door to find Kuuya’s Sedan parked in front of her house, but she didn’t know it. She stared at the car intently until the horn made her jump and race back inside without closing the door. The passenger’s window opened, revealing Kuuya leaning over the seat, “Akiko-hime! It’s us! We’re here to pick you up, come on!” Peeking around the door frame, she confirmed it was indeed Kuuya and her heart stopped racing. She grabbed her key, placing it around her neck and closed the door. As she approached the car, Kuuya walked out to greet her and let her inside the car. She sat in the passenger seat, smoothing out her dress as Kuuya closed the door and came back inside.
_Akiko waved at Tatsu and Momo in the back seat as Kuuya reentered, “That’s a really nice dress you got there. That color suits you.”
_”Thank you-OOOOOOOUUUU ARGH. Ah.”
_”WHAT?!” Kuuya panicked.
_”YOU, AAAH- YOU DRIVE? UH?” Akiko waved her arms. Kuuya stared at her briefly before breaking into an uncontrollable laugh.
_”You… you went ‘uuuuh!!’ Bwahaha!” he poorly imitated her before chuckling out of breath. He cleared his throat after wheezing a bit, “I’m… I’m so sorry, I forgot you’re new to this town.”
_”Eh-yah? Deeh…”
_”Stoppit!” he snickered. “No more! Aw, geez, Akiko-hime, yes, I drive. I have a license and everything. Perfectly legal in this town, okay? No need to… do that whole… pfft…” He shook his head, covering his mouth.

Momo was unpleasantly looking out the window with her arms crossed "yeah hi...stupid kuuya. I said we were gonna walk." she grumped but with some words of assurance from Tatsu that the car was just simply the better option she let it go with a sigh. She was obviously alot more calmer than earlier today and seemed somewhat agitated. "Well as my job as bodyguard it is also my duty to finish up whatever homework you have left, assuming that wasn't completely ignored as well and you didnt do it.....which I'm sure you did anyways." she harped unhappily. "Brains and beauty, what a great pleasure to have." she adds as her comment for her outfit. In all honest though she was trying her best to be nice and cheerful as before but with her medication it was such a hassel. "Argh! Lets hurry up and go already! No more chit chat, drive Kuuya-Kun drive!" she groans. "i need a soda...." she sighs in agitation.

"I agree with Ganaha-sama, we should hurry up," Tatsu said as loudly as he could, which wasn't very loud. He tapped the glass of his watched to emphasize, "We're going to be late." Kuuya instead looked at the clock on his radio to confirm the time, blowing a strand of hair carelessly back to the same spot. He then slowly took the sedan out of parking and headed down the street, obeying the stop sign for only a few milliseconds before proceeding. There were only a few others cars on the road as the adults had not left work yet, at least most of them hadn't. Still, Tatsu seemed a bit on edge with Kuuya driving; Kuuya wasn't a terrible driver or even a bad one, Tatsu just knew the worst of it.

_Akiko remained quiet most of the drive, her face not really displaying any sort of emotion as she stared out the window, resting her elbow against the ridge under the window. The only thing running through her mind for a while was, It's happening all over again. It stopped as soon as she rationalized that Momo had taken her medicine and therefore wasn't acting like herself. She was about to say something when Kuuya finally grew uncomfortable with Tatsu nearly litterally breathing down his neck.
_"Dude, can you back off a little?" he asked with a half joking laugh. He adjusted the mirror so he could stare daggers at Tatsu without taking his eyes completely off the road. "I swear I'm not going to crash, they don't have that broken lamppost anymore, anyway. Plus they say lightning never strikes twice, hahaha!" Akiko looked as if she had just been in a terrible wreck herself, shaking and staring at Kuuya with wide, bugged out eyes.

"Oi! That's not the smartest thing to say in front of the princess while your driving dummy!" Momo hissed, "If you last with Tatsu-Kun breathing down your neck then I'll make him not bother you about it again! Mkay? mkay. Now focus!" Momo shouts leaning forward and lifting her arm past Akiko's seat to point at the front window. "Tatsu-Kun I'll give you some of that western candy you like so much if you'll leave Kuuya-Kun alone when driving." Momo offers.

"G-gomenasai, Kuuya-sama, I didn't know I was bothering y-" Tatsu didn't finish his apologize, realizing Momo's offer. His mouth tightened to a small line as he sat back correctly in his seat, staring at her with his forehead raised. His hands folded in his lap, he looked away then back at her, replying calmly, "OK."

_"... Whoops," Kuuya grinned, chuckling and glancing at Akiko several times. Noticing Tatsu backing off immediately, he laughed even harder and slapped his knee. "And people say I have the eating problem! I guess no one bothers Tatsu about because either they know him or just 'cuz he's so cuuuuute. He making them starving puppy eyes, Ganaha-chan? I just ask you wait until after dinner, of course, don't want to spoil his appetite. Heh heh heh!"
_"Thank you, Ganaha-sama...!" Akiko squeaked, clasping her hands together. She let out a silent breath, looking at the car's radio for the time, seeing that over ten minutes had already gone by. She wondered why Kuuya had decided to head to the restaurant so late when the reservation was at five. Everything moving across her window seemed to get more and more unfamiliar, and she wondered what part of town they were heading into, or already in. She decided against asking where they were, she trusted them, it was where they were going she was a hundred percent sure of. The streets were growing more and more empty, easing her no more than being covered in blood if she were in a cage full of lions.
_"All right, we're here," Kuuya announced as he took a slow turn into a parking lot. He rolled the Sedan over to a vacant spot that was hiding between two large Hummers as if he had somehow seen it a mile away. He took a moment in front of it to roll down his window and stick his head out. Akiko took a gentle peek also, which Kuuya responded to with a smirk, "Don't worry, I'm awesome at parking." He then pushed his eyebrows together and mumbled loudly, "When I want to..." Pulling his head back into the car and taking a glimpse at his rear-view mirror, he shifted into reverse and skillfully backed up. "Kay, everyone out!"
_"... Ah..." Akiko cautiously opened her door to find enough room to get out. Holding her dress down, she hopped out of the car then quietly closed the door. She started to walk around the car when Kuuya stepped out and carelessly slammed his door. "EEK!"
_"... whoops," Kuuya smiled.

[That car-door bit is a personal experience. xD My dad and I try to close the car doors nicely while my mother and sister slam them, scaring the crap out of us!]

"What? Of course Tatsu-kun is cute, and I'm surprised he is single! I bet his babies would be cute too! Now that I think about it...." Momo blurts out in response as she got out of the car after Kuuya. " she shut the door in between slamming and nicely closing it. A force strong enough to ensure it was shut. "Speaking of which I think I know a few girls who like Tatsu-Kuuun.Of course I'm not stupid enough to tell who though." Momo smirked as she strides past Akiko and runs across the parking lot up to the building disappearing all together when she enters through the front entrance.

"N-no... I... oh, darn," Tatsu could barely make an argument, struggling with closing his door. He didn't want to slam it, or even close it a little forcefully, so it resulted in a loose door. As the others grew further and further away, he simply pressed his shoulder against the door until he heard it finally lock in place. As he caught up with Akiko and Kuuya at the entrance, the lighting made it easier too see he had changed into a casual, formal attire. He wore a pair of dress pants with a dark blue collared shirt with its first two buttons undone.

_"Haha, just noticed your little outfit, Tatsu-kun. Lookin' good," Kuuya grinned, leading them inside the restaurant. It wasn't an elegant place and it wasn't obvious what sort of food it served, but it was a beautiful spot to eat. The bar and smoking section took up the left while Akiko's part settled on the right, where most of the tables had been pushed together to accommodate the number of people attending the dinner. Altogether, the gang looked large and, as had been said, like a family, getting along well enough with a few good-humored jokes at each others' expense. As Kuuya entered, they each took notice and grew silent. "Heeey...! Anyone ordered yet?"
_"I DID!"
_"Good! Call the waiter back and tell him to double it all!" Kuuya laughed, joined by the other Wolves. Some laughed to be polite, but if they honestly didn't think it was funny, they didn't, which they knew Kuuya would want. No sense laughing it the joke was terrible. He turned his head, doing so twice when he saw Akiko wasn't at his side. Grinning widely, he backed up to the front of the restaurant in search for the girl. He called quietly, "Hime...? Oooh, Akiko-hime?" He finally found her, safely hidden behind the podium where they took their reservation without needing to duck for she was as tall as it.
_"U-uuuh..."
_"All right, babe, what's the problem?" he sighed gently.
_"Mm... just nervous..."
_"Oh, is that all?" he questioned sarcastically.
_"A lot... nervous," she shook. Then she whispered, "I can't move my legs...!"
_"Easy fix," Kuuya cackled, wrapping his arm around her waist. She flinched but then allowed him to drag her towards the large group. Along the way he reassured her, "They'll love you.As Momo said, something... 'bout brains and beauty, I think."
_"But-"
_"Remember she's on drugs so don't take the WAY she said it too seriously."
_"I don't think you should-"
_"It's like she's high... or low..." Kuuya stopped for a moment to think. He then waved his hand and snapped, "And if not, who cares?! I'm the leader, I like you, Tatsu and Momo are your bodyguards, and they like you! We're the only ones that matter, right?"
_"I guess..." Akiko answered, realizing it was rude. "I mean, HAI!"
_"Damn Straight!" Kuuya nodded, smirking down at her. Reaching the others, he raised his free hand and drew her closer to him. "Oy! Everyone! Say hello to the birthday girl and our Princess, Miyagi-Hime!" It grew silent again as everyone turned to her, then instantly began to buzz with different whispers of approval or not...
_"She's cute... too young... Could never replace her... I hope she's nice... No wonder they picked her... I'd gladly protect her..." the crowd murmured. They then suddenly bowed to her and said in unison, "Welcome, Miyagi-Hime, our Wolf Princess. We shall serve you." Blushing in a small panic at the attention, Akiko looked over the room then bowed back at the crowd.
_"Th-thank you! For the hospitality and for coming!" she lifted her head as everyone else did. A few waiters then came over to pass out drinks to everyone; some were simply left on the table for someone to grab, which Kuuya kept a careful eye on. He grabbed a soda for Akiko, keeping her at his side then grabbed a drink for himself. Everything fell into place again, the low noise of the gang conversing with one another. Eventually, Kuuya let go of Akiko and let her become consumed by the gentle Wolves. He turned to Tatsu and chuckled, "Ah, man, now we gotta share her. Oh, well, food's coming out soon!"
_"No one told us how old you're turning."
_"E-eh... twelve..."
_"Holy crap...! You're kidding! And in eighth grade!?"
_"Yes, and No, I wouldn't lie."
_"Skip a grade?"
_"No, I just started school early."
_"People can do that?"
