I've now been to 3 Anime cons total in the past two years. I hope to attend 3-4 this year.

My favorite experience so far was my first con, which was Anime Weekend Atlanta 2011.

I've pretty much kept to myself at cons, not really having many close friends that share my interest on my level. I have met a couple of people that I knew from sites, and we do keep in touch. Otherwise, any contact is through Twitter and the sites I visit.

I've attended 3 Cons so far and I enjoyed each one, so far my first one is still the one that made the happiest and right now I plan to attend at least 4 more this year with eyes on fanime and anime expo for the "must attend" ones

And I'm happy I made a few new friends and we all stay in contact for the most part on social networks and overall it's a good experience for me overall letting go of the negative people and bringing in/keeping those that are positive in my life

I've attended 2. Both in London.

Loved every second of my 1st, really spoilt for choice. Even got to see the premiere english clips of welcome to the space show. Was angered with my 2nd, because people kept queue jumping which reulted in not 1 but two signing to end early, after queuing for over an hour and a half. At least got to meet some new friends and even got to hear about some new films.

Fan scream would have to be speaking with Geof & Gavin of Rooster Teeth, getting signatures and photo too with my fav RVB voicer!! Nobody can take that moment away from me.

I love meeting fellow fans, especially since it's so lonely where I live. Everything that is common for us geeks, is completely alien to them, thus I am the irregularity to them. When I'm at comic con, I'm myself, and it is wonderful to be the geek I am.

I plan on 2 for this year. Just need a better costume. 1st was assassin creed with my insert coin hoodie and the second was hector from timecrimes. That fell apart but at least people recognised it. Though I got inspiration for another one, a dalek eye stalk. Really need to make it and see if it can be pulled off.

-How many Cons have you attended?
Uhhh, let me count... I counted 10, but I think it's more than that > 3 <

How was your first or best Con experience?
First convention, it was overwhelming seeing how many people were more dedicated to anime than me > 3 < Best con experience is any with friends~ They make the con worth it :3

How do you feel about making new friends at Con and keeping contact?
I LOVE meeting new friends! Especially when they're super cool and have the same interests. I find the easiest way is to exchange Facebooks.

How many Cons have you attended?
51 (yeesh, I didn't realize I had breeched 50)

How was your first or best Con experience?
Um, AMAZING. It had to be good for me to keep attending them for so long, right?

How do you feel about making new friends at Con and keeping contact?
I love meeting and talking to people at cons, its one of the reasons I started cosplay specific social media accounts, to make it easier to connect after the con was over.

Ive gone to 3 cons, two were anime and the other was a comic.
First con was sanjapan 5 and it was awesome! that is the con that got me motivated to go to other cons and to make and create more indepth and elaborate cosplays.
Every con ive gone to ive made a sort of what you could call a con family, the ppl that you always see at the panels and meet ups and you get to hangout with them for the weekend and i personally have chosen to stay in contact with all of them.

I've been to 19 conventions since I first started going to cons in 2005 (AX is my standby con but I've also been to Comic Con, Fanime, ALA, PMX and Fanime)

I generally dislike when people do photo shoots or ask for photos in the middle of a crowded hallway...move it somewhere else people!

I've been to 13 conventions since I started in 2010 ranging from gigantic conventions like New York Anime Festival and Otakon, to smaller ones like Anime Festival Orlando and MomoCon.

I don't have a single best convention experience, but I can tell you that the best times are when I just let myself go. This past MegaCon, I tossed 30lbs of camera equipment aside so that I could jump in with a group dancing to Happy Synthesizer :p

As a cosplay photographer, I meet new people every con, but there are a select few I hit off with very well and we become good friends. I hang out often with the ones who are local to me and the ones out-of-state, I keep in touch with via Facebook/Twitter. If there's a con that we both will be attending, I make sure to spend some time with them and catch up. :D

And, ocanimegroup, I feel you about those photos in crowded areas.... It's a big pet peeve of mine. Once someone stops a cosplayer for a picture, everyone and their mother will want to stop and try to get pictures, too >_>
