I'm not sure if this will work, but other people have said this works; set your dns in your network settings to automatic and try a video.

what about some vita love. would love to see cr on there as well and on the 360 too

that would be perfect if the app support vita too, I'm getting my vita next week, and i love to be able to watch my anime in school from my vita.

I know it's possible but i guess it need sometimes since PS3 have the highest priority.

PS3 system- 250GB slim

Connection- WIFI

Connection service/speed- AT&T UVERSE. Unsure on specifics, will need to update

I am having some major sound issues, I have only messed around for maybe 30 minutes or so as I must make haste for the rest of the night. But the audio had some odd feedback and the clarity of the sound in general was dull or faded. I did try to watch two different animes and even tried restarting the app to no avail.

The quality of the player seemed in good working order, from forwarding or rewinding video, to actually be able to sit through a good portion of a video with no visual/video errors. (note: I did not watch a full episode as the sound was slightly aggravating to the point of non-interest)

From the time this app launched on the PS3 to this point in time, the app has progressively gotten better with each update. You guys rock and have stolen me from Netflix, and once you guys perfect the PS3 app I'm sure my gameplay time will be hindered as well. .

I have a fat 60GB (upgraded to 750GB) PS3. It is hardwired to the router. I have Comcast as my internet provider.
Yesterday I watched two episodes of Sword Art Online without any hiccups at all. Then I tried to watch one episode of Squid Girl and it crashed after five minutes. I tried to watch the same episode again and my PS3 froze up completely.

I have the Same PS3 i watched 2 episodes of Sword Arts Online just fine no lag. I have been trying to watch episode 3 and 4 since but everything 10-15 seconds the video lags stops playing for a few and starts up again takes about an hour + just get through 1 episode also the app has crashed a few times in between

i already do that. i haven't gotten around to properly setting up my PS3 with my router, since my router is about to kick it anyways. on the upside comcast needs me to replace my router anyways so it's a win win for me.

I just experienced something very weird. I am watching Chitose Get You! ep8 and it won't start from the beginning it starts at the 30 second mark. Then at the 48 second mark it jumps to the one minute thirty second mark. This anime is only three minutes in length to lose almost half of it as it jumps ahead on its own at the same time stamps above

PS3 Slim 160gig, wired, latest firmware 2+ Mbps.

ps3 slim 160 hdd
WiFi 802.11g Strong signal usually 54mbit
Timewarner cable 12mbit

Videos appear to play correctly now, moving in menus causes the app to crash if i browse too long. Symptoms is the menu slows down and when i go to launch a show the app crashes back to the playstation start screen.

Bjaker, I saw this yesterday, so my son and I sat down and gave it a shot, we watched the most recent episode of Hunter X Hunter, the first four and episode 7 of Sword Art Online, and then the most recent for Total Eclipse. With the exception of the last episode of Sword Art Online all were watched with almost no pausing. just straight through and all in one sitting i.e. we never had to shut the client or the PS3 off. We had no issues. None, no skipping, no pausing no audio desyncs you folks have done a hell of a job.

Current setup
PS3 Slim 160gb
Wireless connection on a b/g/n (there's something wrong with how my PS3 and my router play on the 5ghz channel so I can't use that at the moment)
ISP Comcast with an average of 30 or so mbps

I *do* have a fat one wired, one of the original 60gigs although I haven't tried it. I can however at anytime. I stay home pretty much every day now so I do have the time to jump through any hoops you need.

I will say that the new encodes really, really improved things.

Last night I tried watching the latest episode of Fairy Tail and both times I heard a beep, the screen went black, and the PS3 became unresponsive. No other shows appear to be doing this. I'm using a 120GB PS3 Slim on wifi with 20Mbps cable internet.

Can you please write down exactly what you're doing to cause the crash so I can try to crash our systems?
