Originally drew the image out on paper, scanned it, lined it, did another lineart then coloured. All of the other drawings like the sword and profile shots are drawn with the tablet first.

She's in high school and was gaming as a hobby. People from her school have pretty much hyped up NerveGear to the extreme so she couldn't help but stand in line with friends to get the game together. When the announcement that they were trapped in this world, the same friends that she stood in line with, became a guild together. It started off with 6 people, and they've been a few more on the way to eventually become a quite a small but equally high leveled guild of 16.
The famous <<Grey Eclipser>> guild. They aren't known as the strongest guild, but they are a guild that fight on the frontlines. Some notable accomplishments of their guild is clearing a few of the lower levels when the <<Knights of the Blood>> wasn't as established. The KotB call upon the Eclipser's help for final boss battles.
My avatar in particular's back story is being an original member and outspoken leader of the group. She is particularly agile because of her shoes and wields a rare one handed sword. The sword was dropped in the early levels and she has customized it and leveled it up to it's full potential. They named their guild after the sword in celebration of the rare drop from their early experience and as a symbol of hope.
The guild is really close knit, so they do try to enjoy the most of the SAO experience. Other players recognize them by their "S" logo that appears on each of the customized armour and blue/blue/gold colours. They try to stay out of any SAO drama, like PK-ers, so they're laid back in that sense.

tldr; my avatar is part of the <<grey eclipser>> guild which is a strong guild that occasionally fights on the frontlines. they're a close knit and laid back guild that is recognized by their customized S logo.

Story: Out of the virtual world; Hime was your average high school girl living a regular high schooler's life. That all changed when she stumbled upon MMORPGs. They allowed her to change herself both physically and personality wise; it was her way of becoming a new person! She would be shy and paranoid girl one minute, but once entering the new world, she would become a very polite and likable persona. Exploring these new worlds allowed her to gain confidence from her usual low self esteem that reality provided her. Upon hearing about the release of a new MMORPG, Sword Art Online; Hime rushed to the nearest game store to recieve her own copy of this new and revolutionary software. She had heard stories about the beta testing beforehand, but wasn't one of the lucky few to recieve the chance at playing the game first.

She found herself able to quiclkly learn the fundamentals of game and advanced through the games floor's almost effortlessly. -- While being a very timid and docile individual; Himeko also has a very righteous and frightening side. If she saw other players being unfair, and not following the game's rules, or just downright getting on her nerves; she will strike. This issue of hers leads her to attack another player which causes her to become an orange player. After others saw the incident, her popularity quickly rose. People saw her as an individual who was willing to become an orange user just to seek fairness in these kinds of games. She honestly didn't like resorting to violence, but if it was to prove a point, she would be willing to do anything.

Himeko and several friends made throughout the game later formed the guild, Seraphic Angeli who believed in player's rights and fairplay. Even though she does not have the highest position, she is the highest leveled of the guild so far.

--Fun fact~ Himeko was game proposed to twice, but turned them both down since one just wanted to use her inventory, and the other was a pedo. *inserts troll face*
