Classes
Anyhow people talk about mages, lancers, and archers and such
But
at SAO there's no "class"
if you remember the first..firsts? episode, the 'leader' claimed himself as a knight, and then people laughed saying "is not like we have classes"...........so pretty much everyone who say is of a specific class is wrong too xD
but then
people just did that was for fun right?:3

Races
Races weren't mentioned but on beginning there had few "pointy" ears that might be elf or something like that making people think races were at SAO too, still by a certain episode i think they can have mounts/riding pets, like horses; so a horse OC shouldn't be really fitting the contest...

Classes is a bit meh. By focusing on certain skills you essentially get the same effect as if there were classes. Just that you're not limited to that class. Like how a tank class will have a lot more defence than a damage dealing one. So by upping your defensive skills you get a tank build without actually having that class.

In the first episode all the players were transformed into what they looked like in the real life of their world. Meaning that even if they had races in the start, it would all be reverted at the very start.
Personally I don't think a few pointy ears spotted on some generic character in the first episode give any real basis for assuming they have races. It could just as well be the animators having a small error or the character in question having slightly pointy ears.

Only 43 more floors until we beat the game! We're never gonna make it, yep should just settle down on a floor you like.

Is there a reward for the first one to clear the 100th floor?

Well yeah xD in the end is still pretty much the same;;;

they were transformed because of the mirror right? well i still see few OC or even characters around that don't look 100% how a real self would look(i mean.. different hair colors are fine but still some things;;), so maybe if you brake your mirror you go back to your character view? ouo;

Took me awhile to FINALLY get my entry finished! Again, thank you to Sailorbee and the hard workers at Crunchyroll for this opportunity! Your contests give me an idea and inspiration to be productive and actually draw something. And what's better than a contest based on one of my favourite animes of the season? Ok enough talking, here's my entry:

Too me forever to figure out a good composition to stick everything together in one image that wasn't huge haha.
Full body avatar is pretty detailed, but still tried to stay in somewhat of the original style of SAO's art.

There are still NPCs so those elves may have been part of the background and not players.

okay, so here's my avatar :3 and yes, it's a pony... with wings, but the rules didn't say anything about the race :3 so she's called Avox, she uses a single, double edged sword, which looks a lot like the ones the romans used, she has magical golden armor that holds the power of light, she can fly and has a beautiful snow white coat, her class is.... um.... paladin :3

While the rules of the contest didn't say you couldn't pick any race you want. The rules within the SAO universe kinda limit you to human. An SAO OC would be limited to the rules of the SAO universe. And as far as I know, SAO does not include ponies playing VR games.

What you got there is more of a OC in a crossover between MLP and SAO

They could've used a MLP mask during the part when the nervegear scanned their face, which would have tricked the game into thinking the pony's face was the person's actual face.

Now we're just speculating how the technology works in that world, but I assume the Nervegear was designed with humans in mind not ponies. So it would just scan an area in a certain limit of the mask. Unless you had a crummy paper-taped-on-face mask, still you'd look like a guy with a paper-taped-on-face mask in game.

Even if you somehow managed to get the nervegear to scan your body and show you as a pony, your brain would still send signals for you to move as a human. The Nervegear intercept the nerves so that your movement is only applied to your avatar in SAO, and not in real life.

We should care more about our own avatar rather than the avatars of other players. SailorBee is the creator of this thread's version of SAO. Her evil sidekick, Bjaker, may have randomly programmed some brony magic and twisted NPC AI's to confuse us even further. It's our job not to let those two despair us into fighting with each other over the mechanics of this game! We must have fun and sally forth to the final floor! I-It's not like SailorBee's going to h-h-heal Lugiamania if Bjaker programmed the sparkling new employee AI as a brony <.<

OMG! Is that Keikawa as an Asuna Yuuki clone? He looks so fabulous!
