I have yet to experience it. Where I live, the Freshmans are part of the middle school, so I spent three years in that hell hole. I only hope Highschool is better.

I've got some bad news for you...

I'm still in highschool but I'm a senior right now so one more year for me. THANK YOU JUST ONE MORE YEAR!!

Yeah high school isn't very fun for me. I'm quite sociable and usually hang out with my small group because I'm comfortable around them. Though all HS is about is muscles, holy moly I wish the guys would just stop flexing and talking about their protein shakes, lifting over 200 pounds, and how many pull ups they could do. It's literally the only thing guys talk about in HS. Even my friends are starting to work out and trying to get me to do it too It's really the only reason I want to get out of HS. I've been asked 23 times last year how much I could bench. So I hope this last year is fast.

Man this sounds like my first year at highschool, i didn't want to end up being the reject guy so i starting workout out and got a lot more in in shape, after that i got a lot more attention from both girls and guys (they all asked me how much i bench -_-) only 2 more years and I'm out of that hell hole

High school was uninteresting....same thing day after day. I do sort of miss the people, though. High school forces you to make friends and see certain people on a regular basis. It could be good or bad. Some kids back in HS, in retrospect, were strange as fuuuuh. Now I see them 3 years later and they've totally changed from weird to cool and everything. It's interesting to watch people change.

Why is that? Is your school competitive in athletics or something?
I don't know much about sport or being competitive in how much one can bench...
When I was In high school (which was only 2 months ago), there was actually one kid that almost everyone in the class (including a few of the teachers) teased and poked fun a bit and called him "Steroids" because of the amount of time he spent of his physic and muscles.
It all really depends on the school though. Mine has the title "Arts and Enterprise" in it, so it was a high school for people who were interested in business in the visual or performing arts.

With that said, my school was chill. Everyone was nice, not a lot of visible bullying or violence. Though in year 11, a bunch of 9th graders would throw fruit and coins at me every lunch period. I didn't even know them so I don't know why, even now, they did that.
I got a lot of straight A's because I worked my butt off but a lot of people say the school is easy. I don't think it is because i worked hard for my grade but then again, they were the type to not see a C very often...
In my experience, it was really hard to make friends. The school is very small (less than 400 Students) and everyone knows everybody. So if you do something weird or wrong, it spreads everywhere. Also, not a lot of people like anime. And if they did, it was usually just for the explicit shows. So when I tried to open an Anime Club, everyone just wanted Rated R+ shows to be aired in the classrooms. I said, well, no for it was against school policy. So they just didn't show up. After a good few weeks of people not showing up and me after school alone, I gave up.
Also, relationships! I put myself in a relationship that I was so happy to be in! Until, that is, he started flirting with my friends. I asked him to stop or even if we should just break up but of course he said "Oh, no I am not; you know I love you." Then I found out from my friend that he kissed her. I was so upset, I punched him while in tears and then broke up with him. After that, I didn't have any more friends. He said I annoyed him and I didn't want to be around someone who didn't like me or someone who hurt me so badly so I didn't hang around him. His friends were my friends and I guess they liked him more so they no long were around me.

I am so sorry! I guess I had to let off some steam. Thank you for reading!

Honestly? Horrible. I went to highschool in a small southern town and as you can imagine being a poor agnostic kid who was into anime and not "huntin and fishin" I wasn't popular at all. In fact I usually spent my lunch breaks in the library. I was picked on something fierce then I hit college got boobs and ass and developed semi acceptable social skills. Though I'm not really a "cool kid" now I have friends who get me and I don't take shit from anyone.

I'm sorry to hear that about your relationship. Don't worry though theirs plenty of fish out in the sea. I also go to a pretty small school I believe it's around 370 students or something. Although the guys in my school don't work out for athletics or anything since most of them are just regular guys like me. It's like they do it just for the bragging rights of calling others weak or standing taller then them in the food chain. I've been asked several times "who would win in a fight," or "what would you do if I just punched you right now." I hate that kinda stuff because I care less about fighting and even less about who's fighting who. I really hope my HS year ends fast because my friends are starting to get dragged into that mess, and are now asking ME to work out with them and do wrestling. I've seen them work out and lift over 170lbs so you could probably guess my reaction.

It was okay, been with this girl for 3 years then lost my virginity to her, after that she broke my heart. I thought my life was over. I spent the next year as an out of college druggie and stayed home playing video games

Huh. Very interesting. In all seriousness, I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't to compensate something.
And thank you It was a long time ago and I am only mad at him now because he did some really horrible things to my brother and his friends now that he is in high school! XD

Pretty typical high school experience for me.

Made some friends, played team sports, joined a club, did community service, went out to parties, etc.

Classes weren't so hard, it was literally just about putting forth effort. Homework grades were an easy buffer, not like college where 90% of your grade depends on 2 or 3 exams.

Socially I didn't find it hard to talk to other teenagers. Sure there were so angsty types that didn't seem to want to be around anyone, but for the most part teenagers just want to feel like they belong and are accepted. I found out that if you approach someone and took the effort to get to know them and talk to them and listen to them, they'll most likely be cool with you.

Sex life was pretty satisfying. High school girls were by far the freakiest, even compared to my college years. All those years of pent-up horniness unleashed, sometimes I felt borderline violated.

Honestly, having gone to 3 different high schools has reduced my memory of the entire affair to a blur and a few names. I can't remember any teacher I had, I think I speak to one person I knew from back then, and I can't rightly recall if it was even an experience worth remembering in the first place. All the drama that I might have been apart of is irrelevant now, all the people I knew are gone. Faces have faded and friendships dissolved. I guess it was just a block of time to be muddled through and forgotten.
