In short my high school life was awesome. That is not to say that there were no hardships as there were indeed many, but looking back I don't think I have ever felt so a part of something. I never really got along too well with my year. Most of them were pretty immature and had nothing in common with me. So during my freshman year I ended up befriending a group of seniors who knew my older sister when they were freshmen. Generally they were a bunch of outcasts by the common opinion, but they had more pride and genuine passion than almost any other group. Of course they were seniors so they had to go, which was quite sad but gave me inspiration. Having a place to be me meant the world and I wanted to do that for others. So I formed the Tech Club.

I made a safe place for all the nerds and general outcasts of my school, which surprisingly numbered 39 members in a school of 450 students (yeah I had a really small school). I have always been great with computers, so I trained my members on how to repair and build computers. We also went on trips to places like the San Jose Tech Museum and the Intel HQ. One of my largest claims to fame was also managing to work out a deal to rent out the school library (where tech club meetings happened) and host over night LAN parties. The LANs were open to all, and it let the other members of school understand just how awesome nerds can be (as corny as that sounds). There are few divides when it comes down to a game of Smash Bros Melee; just frantic screams, strange sounds, and laughter for everyone. From there I was eventually hired by the school to be the onsite computer tech while still attending the high school.

Outside school I lived life awesomely. I dj'ed parties with my best friend, went on random and spontaneous adventures, and generally enjoyed myself. I had a rough home situation so I tried to get out often. Really I lucked out a great deal going to the school I did. I got on a first name bases with all my teachers and made awesome friends from all walks of life. I don't think I could ever forget all the good times I had.

Seeing that im still in highschool, what can I say,
Im not exacly the social butterfly, nor do I want to be, has been quite some drama about me over the past years

Then,I got interested in writing, drawing and manga and anime, people thought I was trying to be cool and took the piss out off me, when I just snapped and got in a quite a fight, I didnt intend to fight, but I didnt want to spend the rest of the year people kicking me and pushing me around, after that, somehow....somehow those people started to act nice to me, and got genuinely interested in anime/manga.

I had my share circle of friends, one of them, Nina, who basically got me into this world, introduced me to a bunch of nerds such as myself and now I feel really comfortable.

Academically, well, I usually fail the first 2 cycles but in the third I get 7s and 8s and even 10s.

Boring, I went to a small private school and it was pretty much the same 30 kids from kindergarten all the way to senior year. I wish I had gone to one of those huge public schools, would have been way more fun for me.

well im also still in highschool and being in australia highschool starts at year 7.

-year 7- best school year in my life so far! i made heaps of friends had the best teachers, didnt get any detentions and did really well in the academics averging in the 80-100% range.

-year 8- another awesome year were i got in an actual group and converted most of my friends to anime, plus my ex girlfriend from year 5 came back to our school

-year 9- went to japan on the school trip with my 2 best friends and that was the most amazing trip ever, but other than that it sucked because i was moved down from the top (smart) class because i just pass in english, maths and science in year 8. but another good come out of the year because i top my grade in every single subject except geography. but another bad came out of it because im now at home doing american online school because im moving there in 2 weeks. i really hope america education is easier than australian.

To sum it up, I changed. I came into High School pretty quiet. Never spoke out in class. By senior year I had lost a lot of weight, had a job in retail, talked to everybody and was friendly to everyone in my class. After being away from High School I do have to say there are a ton of people I could care less about that I once called great friends. I got to watch others do great things and get successful while watching people spiral down bad paths and are now locked up or working petty jobs.

I think while I overall liked school and the people I was with at the time, I don't feel the same now. Hard to describe but I feel indifferent about it.

Actually, I've never really been to high school. I left during the 9th grade for home school, yet that wasn't working out, so I decided to obtain my GED. Two years later I have my diploma and now currently a freshman in college.

Frankly, I don't think I missed much of anything. I had enough during middle school, where I was constantly bullied and harassed. Once I got to 9th grade, things weren't getting any better. In fact, I could say I learned more while being out of school than I did in it.

I had mostly a good experience in high school - especially sophomore and senior years. It was tough to change schools junior year though - I learned that your school's atmosphere has a lot to do with how your experience is.

If I had to do it again - i would have been less shy (and not been afraid to spend time with younger people), made more friends out of my acquaintances and been more promiscuous.

Still, I've got lots of good memories from high school. OH - and I got a lot out of the extracurriculars that still hang with me - glad I did them.

High school I hated until my final year there because apart from all the exams and stuff, all we did was mess around pretty much and some of the teachers didn't really care. I'm glad to have finished high school. Roll on college now.

I just entered public high school after being taught online for the first year. So far it's boring and I haven't made any friends.

F^ck High school.
My entire time I spent in public education I was miserable. I know it was partly my fault but I was constantly in trouble with the staff. I had ADHD, not that that's really an excuse but I didn't just want to sit still and pay attention some days. I needed to move around and do something different, break the monotony of it all. Course then I'd get yelled at and sent to the principle's office after I got angry. I got suspended for two days in 3rd grade for threatening to kill another student who was bullying me. The rest of my elementary school time was spent being off and on in trouble.
My first year in middle school I spent the majority of it out of the principle's office, only getting suspended for a week for fighting, iss for being upset at my selected partner in science, and detention for something I didn't even do in German class. After that year things went downhill again and I spent most of the next two years in and out of trouble again. Pointless rage against the system for being idiotic and retarded and my acts of rebellion only got me in trouble. 8th grade was interesting though, got suspended for a few weeks for threatening to kill one of my teachers.
High school was disappointing. I mean television makes high school out to be the most important time of your life, what utter bullshit. I had next to no friends the entire time. Again I couldn't really stay out of trouble due to my continuing hatred of the school system and their pettiness. That and most of the teachers treated me like an idiot from week one and then expect me to have this incredibly high level of respect for them that they didn't earn. Most people left me alone and I wasn't bullied. (Heard from one of my few friends that some others thought I'd stab them if they talked to me.) After two years there, so 10th grade, I left the school system since I took a knife to the school sponsored driver's ed program and was practically expelled, I needed to have a hearing but didn't bother with it. So the last two years I did online schooling and had my best grades in years while also taking a welding course that I ended up not really liking. I graduated this year and have started a certificate class for Basic EMT.
I love college!

I liked it. I got to roll out of bed and get As. College sucked because I rolled out of bed and got Bs, then had to start trying.

Some of my better friendships were in high school when I was much more innocent and my defenses weren't as high. Don't think I'll ever bond with people quite the same way as I used to back then.

I could make a long LONG post about it, but I'll save you from it.
Mostly a loner, but I had a few good friends, hell, even a few girlfriends. I got by.
Advanced placement for history classes, advanced for English as well.
Struggled in math.
Hated myself each day I woke up.

All I can say is, ever since high school has ended, I've been significantly happier.
Still not where I want to be with happiness, but I'm definitely better than where I was.

Edit : I just realized my wording, a few girlfriends spread out, not all at one time
