I'd say gaming rules my life more then Anime, but not hugely. Whenever I'm at home I game but I hang out with my friends A LOT. I only game a lot when I'm at my house since its more boring then watching paint dry in my house. So it's the only thing to do. If I didn't have video games then when I'm at home I would probably literally be watching paint dry to entertain myself.

I only talk about anime and games when it's brought up by my friends or someone else, since I would hate to be THAT GUY in the group lol.

Most of my friends in real life are married or have kids or both; so in short they F***ing suck since they never hang out, EVER. I'm talking months to years go by before I even get a text or a phone call. Thus, anime and gaming go through phases in which one of them tends to rule my life at a given time and the other attempts to mount a new offensive to retake the title for itself. But socially, I don't talk about either anime or gaming with most people (acquaintances usually) face to face unless they bring the subject up first.

Does not consume me, but I like to watch it. To me it was like watching Saturday Morning Cartoons when I was younger. When cartoons like Looney Tunes, Roadrunner and Marvin The Martian were on. Do not get me wrong though, when I know that a new episode is airing for a show I watch, you bet I have at least cleared some time to watch it....

Not exactly. I mean, sure I like it a lot and watch it a lot. However, I don't make a huge show about it.

No, although I really love the anime I have watched, I've never been so compelled to watch anime that it affects my everyday life.

Anime is of the same consistency as study, personal reflection, personal interaction,
work, languages, and nourishment to me.That is to say, it does not rule my life,
but it certainly plays a significant part in it, because I enjoy it. Yes, anime does not feed,
clothe, converse or make me smarter per se, and I usually end up paying rather than earning...
But I like it all the same. I've made good friends watching/discussing it,
and I'm understanding Japanese a little better too.
