HD on PS3?

Can We get 1080p or 720p Resolution? because when i play my anime it looks "pixly". All help is appreciated!

And yes I do have an HD Tv and my ps3 has HDMI connection.

They never said soon, just that they will eventually bring HD to the PS3 app.

True, soon might not have been the best word to use. It was smart on their part to not give a timeframe to avoid upsetting people if it took longer, but I have faith it will be somewhat soon. They know it currently doesn't look good and I'm sure it's a top priority once the major bugs are squashed.

I watched it once, it reminded me of the old VHS fansub days . It's just missing the occasional scrolling vertical line and it would have been complete.

How is your connection speed? The video playing should be 480p DVD quality. If your connection is slow to the CR servers then the video will automatically adjust down.

The videos actually look really good on my 55" for them only being 480p. When I get closer to my TV can I see the lines are a little blurry. I think the PS3's built in upscaler may be playing a part in improving the picture quality as well.
