Everyone is making too much of a big deal out of this all. I've been bullied from Middle school to High school. I've been called a "F*&^k face" from time to time, I've been pulled from the urinal when I'm in the process of pissing and made me piss all over myself.

What did I do?

I tell the principal.

What happened?

The bully gets a week of suspension.

What happened later?

The bully targets me again for telling on him, this time, he stole my wallet and took the few dollars I had left and burned it.

What did I do after that?

I told the principal again.

What happened next?

The bully get suspended again, this time 2 weeks.

And the whole process repeats itself again for a few more times of him(the bully) getting suspended, he finally got expelled.

Despite getting expelled, the bully still meets me after school and beat me up a few times. But I didn't care, he got expelled. Later I heard he got transfer so I didn't see him as often.

What's the point of me telling you all this? I think kids now a days are stupid and too scared to be a tattle tell. And the best thing you can think of is suicide? Give me a break, now you're just causing problems for other people such as your family.

HEY! PEOPLE!
CONGRATULATIONS!
A DISCUSSION WAS CREATED, ARGUMENTS WERE MADE, THOUGHTS ADVANCED, IDEAS WERE THROWN ABOUT, PEOPLE GOT TO THINKING!

Congratulations! Bullying won't be solved today, but at least we're thinking about solutions.
Some solutions were given, but they are not solutions if the people who should take note of them don't understand the solutions and that's too bad. Yet, I am sure some positive results could be found if we were to look for them.

Here, have a happy Shinji:

To me, bullying and Victimism are the same but expressed differently.

Victimism, or playing the Victim, is someone who blames others passive-aggresively in order to get what they want, which is usually attention.

Bullying is someone who blames others aggressively in order to get what they want, which is usually attention.

Both stem from a desire for attention. When they don't get the attention they want, it leads to insecurity and causes them to act out.

Kids need to learn they can not have everything they want. And that needs to be taught to them by their parents.

i think that bullying is bad, but it's kind of the world because it's really kind of messed up. A bully most probably goes through some bad stuff or feels bad, which make him do that. They can choose not to do that, but i guess for some it's hard because they see it as a way to cope or survive. i don't really know what causes it; it could be the world or just the person, or both. either way though, if you tried many things like trying to be friends and make peace and it didn't work, then i think war is the answer. you have to fight them and not let them make you feel bad.

the sissy stuff that i am referring too is kids letting other kids push them around because they are scared. i had a bully once guess what, when u finally say fuck it and fight them or punch them you earn peoples respect and they stop messing with you

You do realize that violence won't make every bully stop, don't you?

True, the misconception that bullying is part of growing up is a mistake, most of this goes unnoticed for the simple reason that most people don't even recognize it when they see or hear about it. Stop advocating bullying from home, it's not a solution. How can you teach your kids what behavior is acceptable and what is not if you don't grasp the knowledge yourself?

90% of the time it will work better than telling the teacher or just letting them continue worked for me
