Make yourself a boring target. That was my strategy, and it worked. I got targetted fairly often when I was younger, being a typical nerdy type, and it was pretty rough at first, but my reactions from the start ranged from frowning perplexedly to giving them a "what was that about?" look, and sure enough, they got bored of picking on me. I'll admit that it's a selfish strategy that doesn't deal with the actual problem, but it does get people like that out of your own hair.

teach your kids or yourself how to not care
dont give a shit about these dumbasses
be smarter
if you dont care you'll have no reactions they're interested in and they'll stop
if they dont then theyre dumber than you thought and you can laugh at that behind their backs

When I was being bullied in high school I walked up to the jackass and punched him in the face, he cried and I got off scotch free because I was a straight A student with no prior disciplinary problems while he was constantly getting into trouble, from that time no one troubled me despite me being a nerd and an easy target. So what I am trying to say is that if you are a good student and you have put up with enough bullshit from bullies go ballistic and your punishment may not be as bad and well no one messes with afterwards.

Schools should educate students on how to not bully their fellow peers because they result in school shootings, this is something that should be talked about more often because american children today are just plain crazy, I mean doing something so dastardly because someone made fun of you for wearing glasses is a little over the top.

Get rich as hell then during the ten year reunion find the bully tell him about you'r awesome life and make him feel like shit. That's what I'm planning anyway.

Don't care. But if you have had enough of it, get the bully really mad using wit and cleverness, enough to make him want to punch you, but especially in the face. Let him punch you, but don't react. At all, or maybe laugh a little. It is best to do this in front of a lot of people. In the best case scenario, he gets in trouble, and you look cool. No one will want to bully you again after this. When I did this, I was in a blackhead phase. When he punched me, all that happened is that he popped my blackheads. His knuckles were all red and injured afterwards, but I hardly felt it.
This method is not for all, however.

i was bullied in elementary but the thing is if you basically never bother with the other person or simply ignore the bullying part. they will stop picking on you.

the only time it became a form of bully is when you entertain the other party.

act clueless, don't ever make them see that it bothers you or that your hurting.

because you can never stop bullying. there is no such thing as a solution to it. because any where or every where there is always a form of bully.

You've got an ego from a exaggerated story. Edgy.

Bullying's a problem if you make it into one.

I've never understood why bullies don't think about consequences. That geeky dude you beat up everyday may show up to school one day with a gun and blow your brains out. While I don't mind bullies getting what they deserve, I just hope that the nice innocent students don't get hurt.

That's a little over the top. That could apply to anyone. The popular dude showered in attention may show up to school with a gun. If someone's insane, then it doesn't matter who you are.

I don't know a surefire way to solve all bullying but I can vouch for what's helped me in the past.

Elementary School: Bullied for years by the same individual, ignored it, snapped and broke him all over the basketball court. No longer an issue. Dude's been my friend ever since. Bestie now actually. Good guy.

High School: Either tales my aforementioned badassery kept everyone away or I looked scary enough to not be messed with. Idk. Whatevs.

College: Now, I was expecting people to start acting like adults by this point in our lives. Apparently some folks never learn. I was in an honors class, and yes I fit the physical expectations of such. 5'8"-9", 140lb white kid. We had a group study session for a presentation our group was doing in the library and, unbeknownst to my group, we had apparently picked the portion of the library "owned" by the athletic teams ( Football, Soccer, and so on, mainly football) as all the other tables had been filled by the rest of our classmates. Well there was a group of around twenty douchebags who had a problem with myself and my two partners minding our own business in a corner as far from them as we could be cause we didn't wanna catch their douchyness. So they inform us that there's a major problem where we're sitting and that we had better leave. Now, I dont really mind it if someone tries to pick on me. I just ignore the hell outta them. But when you pick on the kids beside me too, I'll skullf*ck your corpse. I gave them one freebie. One explanation as to why we had to sit there and that we really would rather not sit anywhere in the proximity of Neanderthals if we couldn't help it. So they continued. I had enough after about three painfully idiotic sounding syllables and stood up and walked over to them, stared at every single one like I was not gonna have a problem going to jail after they watched me watch them all bleed to death, and told them since they were so fuggin' inconvenienced that the could come see if they could move us themselves. I had no more problems after a fourth of them left and the rest decided that you really should be quiet in a library. My group finished our shiz an left. No problems since.

Moral of the story: Don't expect anyone to solve your bullying problem for you, Be appreciative if they do, and i know it sounds harsh but don't be a bitch. If you wont even stick up for yourself, how can you expect someone else to? And if you do see someone bullying or hurting someone else, deck that bastard. The world ain't gonna change unless you get up off your ass.

What? I have no ego, and it was merely an example of what one could do. I didn't plan it out, it just sorta happened. I was just explaining how one could get to the same result. Why and how would I exaggerate? You don't understand. I had a lot of blackheads. Have you ever been punched where blackheads cover the entire area? It feels really good and doesn't really hurt. I don't have an ego. I am very humble and try to stay out of trouble when I can. I do nothing to intentionally egg people on.

I think bullying is wrong and the person that is doing it has low self esteem so they pump them self up by hurting another to make them selves feel better.

For small kids such as primary school or 1st to 4th grade I believe they don't have the mentality to realize what they are doing is wrong because i was kinda that way, but don't get me wrong after Fifth grade I got a taste of my own medician lol and when I hit middle school I befriended alot of people I was mean to even tho they still disliked me. I even became best friends with some of them.

Also I think kids need to learn how to stand up against people like bullies. No offence but it would make a big difference. Sometimes you have to do something the bully would never expect to get you point across that you are not a person to be messed with. And I don't mean physical contact as one, I mean actually speaking up and if it comes to physical contact it doesn't matter if you win or lose most of the time the person will have it in there head that you will do something next time they mess with you, so the bully will back off and do things at a distance.

Also, it may also have to do with the fact that I love feeling pain. i was extremely disappointed when they wouldn't let me stay awake to drill out my wisdom teeth. Imagine how good it would feel to have the drill-such a sensation of pain! Luckily I was able to awaken before they finished using the drill, but I could hardly feel it, darn drugs.

I think Bullying should be a warning sign for parents.
If my child gets bullied and just accepts it i as a parent have to react and straighten out my child so that it stands up for him/herself and isnt just a target.
If you can not do that in school chances are you will always be just someones bitch at the workplace as well.

Live is a competition its a fight of the fittest if someone can advance in the work by using you he will do so and he has all right to do so as well.
