To me, life is a very good thing. At least I think so. I don't think that death is good. I'm sure that sounds "normal" but I honestly think that most people accept death as a natural part of life. I still see it as bad. But then, I suppose that's not really fair for me to say since I eat "dead" animals and plants for food. So I suppose I'm referring just to human life? I guess it really depends on what you mean by "life."

Quite an interesting topic. Someone's point of view probably influences how they ponder it, so every answer might be different. Kind of exciting!

I love it! The only thing I hate about it is the ignorant people that bring it down for you. Wish I could go a day without hearing of a travesty that happened. Actually that's probably me just watching the news to much, man I really need to stop looking at it

I think it's boring and way too subjective for my liking. And physical bodies are too much hassle. I'd honestly prefer to be an omnipresent presence simply watching life.

My life lacks purpose.

I don't fear death, I fear pain.

I think existing is boring, yet I fear not existing.

So I just don't thing about life.

There's a big elephant in the room? Choose your action:

- Ignore it.
- Look at it.
- Think about it.
- Get a stick and put it up the elephant's arse.

I didn't start liking life until I settled for simply pursuing having as much fun as possible and doing something I love.

I spent way too much of my life being frustrated with the people around me and the current human condition, and trying to find some semblance of meaning in life. For a long time, I was chronically depressed over it, eventually reaching a point where everything just felt meaningless and people mattered very little to me. But I've recently accepted that life is so damn short and I want to make the most of it as possible especially with my youth years. People may suck and we may be a dumb species bent on our own destruction and meaningless existences, but there's also a lot of AWESOME things to do out there that are simply too invigorating to pass up.

I'll go back to being depressed later after I've had my fun.

It's amazing, but short.
So enjoy it while you can, and take nothing for granted.

I really can't stand it when people are depressed about first world problems. If you're not a poor starving human in a third world country, you better be greatful for what you have. The fact that you have internet at your fingertips should be enough to make you happy.

Just because it's a so called "first world" country that doesn't mean that the citizens there don't have to deal with stress. Perhaps it isn't the same as survival stress, where you have the stress of struggling just to keep yourself and family alive, however there are other types of stressors involving family, friends, relationships and death or disease. Just because one has material goods doesn't make one happy. They should be grateful for their fortunes that they were allowed these luxuries others were not granted, but that doesn't mean they are content with their lives. Growing up with something is different than growing up without it and then obtaining it. If you had a TV, for example, in your home since you were a young child, having a television is just something normal, and therefore, while it's nice that you can afford to have one since you've always had it you take it for granted. However if you went your entire childhood without a TV and then when you became an adult and saved up to purchase one, having a TV would mean a lot since you've never owned one, or your family has never owned one. In the end it all comes down to the fact that each human being can only experience his or her view point on life and therefore they can't really empathize with those who don't have what they consider as basic goods. (So a computer/TV to continue with the example)

I was depressed almost the entire month of July and early August. I been working on changing that. I been making a lot of rapid changes in my life this year.

So, I decided to try something new... I went to Electric Zoo yesterday, and it was pretty insane. I mentioned to my Thursday night class that there was no homework, and to enjoy the Labor Day weekend. I said to them at the end of class "I hope at least some of you are also going to Electric Zoo this weekend." A bunch looked bummed out they were not going, but instead their professor was going to an all weekend rave instead. (I only went to one day of it. 12 hours of partying was enough, plus those tickets aren't cheap)

It's good to do something like that every now and then. Life is short, make the most of it, and always remember you also need to make some time for some fun adventurous stuff too.

The ending of life is always death.

I dont get why we all strive to live.
Dying hurts but it's seriously better than living.

oh well.
I guess we just have to live, live and live.

My life isn't great, actually many things in it suck very much. But I love life. I love the small joys I find. The laughter. Simple acts of kindness that I have been given by complete strangers and have tried to put back out there. Knowing that sadness and pain are just reminders that I am alive. Not putting too much importance on mistakes because as long as I'm alive I have another chance to get it right. Knowing that I can learn something new every day.

I'll close the Hallmark card now.
