I'm from Mississippi and though I never had trouble getting girls, none of them had any interest in anime. One even demanded I choose between her and my anime collection...(guess which one I chose LOL) However when I went to college I ended up meeting a bunch of hot/nerdy girls who were into anime. We even started an anime club! I think that would be your best bet is to look for a club that share your interest. Lucky for me I live in Japan now and my fiance and her sister loooovvvveee anime! Her younger sister is a huge Otaku! In fact, my fiance and I went to go see the new Naruto movie last Saturday! The movie was so awesome and she cried like 5 times during the movie!!
