I wouldn't rest on your laurels just yet. Don't get me wrong - congrats and all that, and I hope it all goes awesome - maybe I'm just overly pessimistic in my cantankerous old age but until the deal is sealed, tread carefully.
Being dragged down from a high like that is a terrible feeling, so while you're out there breaking your comfort zone and enjoying the progress... don't let it turn against you. I've seen too many shy dudes get shot down after getting the number and being even worse than when they started.

I have to agree that there are not that many girls into anime. I'm a girl myself and I don't know that many other girls that are into it. Truth of the matter is it's hard to spot when a girl is into anime b/c they usually don't go around showing they are. I know that's true for myself. Just by looking at me, you would not be able to tell that I'm into anime and I usually don't point it out to others unless they mention they're into it. I suggest that you just join anime groups around where you live. |

Oh, anime/gamer groups... probably the only thing I miss about college. For all you still in some form of education, take advantage of it as long as you can. Great times!

I should have joined one, but I guess I was just too busy in high school and college.
I did have a friend who tried to start a Dance Dance Revolution club in high school though. The administrators overruled it, what Nazis.

Dude, you live in GA, home of the BIGGEST scifi/fantasy convention on the East Coast ~ Dragon*Con... going on this weekend in Atlanta. It's FULL of women who like anime and video games and stuff like that. And it happens every year in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend. Go out and mingle.

Take a Japanese language class in College, that is where I meet a lot of anime/manga girls that I became good friends with.

Lol .. never had meet any1 that like what i like... I'm a girl, and all my family think I'm a loser, (hahaa) everyone that I know even friends, just because I like anime/manga and video games, video games not much, I just like RPG but not all of them, and just 1 shooting game and that MW2 and MW3 but I don't give a care about them that says I'm wired 4 watching and reading about anime .
And dating eeww.. thinking about guys and dating them.. no more 4 me.. thinking about them just piss me off.. I know that, not all guys r assholes, that just want, 1 thing and that is sex..
