Do what I did date someone who wasn't into anime or manga, then watch a show or leave a book and the coffee table, eventually you might be able to convert them?

If you want a woman who is into video games and anime, good chance they're going to be fat.

You can say the same for guys pretty much too.

Of course there's more of a chance of the woman just looking for attention from guys and not genuinely having any interest. That's just annoying.

As for me, I say this since a majority of the guys I dated were overweight themselves actually. I've always -- for one reason or another -- been skinny. I honestly should be fat given my activities and eating habits and I will rue the day my metabolism comes to a screeching halt. Guess I'm lucky.

Can I be jealous of you? I'm a gamer myself and always gain weight but for the good 3 months, I've been the same weight.

Go out and live life that's all the advice I can give you. Just do your normal daily activities and someone will come along eventually.

I see alot of girls who are into anime but they're the generic Dragon Ball z, Naruto, Bleach fanatic ;/ So I wouldn't really say they really "know" anime.

I'm fine with an anime fan (who's as moderate as I am). I just don't want to date a gamer. The line between being a gamer and an addict is too thin for my liking and I've already been through that.

I got lucky and in the past I dated girls who were closet otakus and I didn't realize it till later lol. Yeah usually the chicks that I can immediately tell are anime lovers are ummm....interesting looking haha. Don't worry man there's many chicks out there that are good looking and like anime, i've seen them.

Interest in anime/videogames is an awful basis for a relationship.

You'll have to sift through far too much social ineptitude to find someone, and even at that point they'll probably know better than to go out with someone who has that stuff as a first priority for a relationship.

I think it's easier to first develop a relationship then try and introduce them to anime/video games. Who knows, they might actually enjoy it. Otherwise you might be setting too high of standard(s) for your potential partner and end up forever alone.

Harsh but somewhat true.
