Maybe it is the town you live in, I live in new york and it is still not so easy to make friends who are into anime but you need to get to know people and read them a little before you bring anime up. Or go to places where you could meet people who you will know they are into anime just because they are there. like anime conventions, or a local anime club. are you currently in college? if you are you could try to join there anime club. or you could take the chance of meeting people online and then latter meeting up offline. good luck i hope you meet someone.

First off, let me just tell you that they do exist lol I'm one of them. We're a rare breed, but we are out there.
Second, go to an anime convention. That seems to be the best place to meet people with the same interest as you. I go to Animazement (the convention in NC where I live) every year and, trust me, there are plenty of attractive, young, anime/game loving girls there. Also, the internet is a wonderful tool for meeting people with similar interests as you. I know how you feel though. Living in the south, I tend to get weird looks whenever I start geeking out about a game or an anime, but don't give up and don't stop being yourself. You'll find someone eventually :) |

I know a couple girls who play video games, some who I find attractive. There was one girl who use to be my "best friend" in high school. She was into anime, manga and video games. On top of that, she was super cute!! Never will I forget that girl. I actually miss her.
Too bad we don't talk anymore. You all know how girls are and end up with a guy who doesn't like you and makes them stop talking to you. Broke my heart into pieces which will never be fixed. Unless I find someone like that again, but I know these woman do exist. |

I've met a lot of people that liked anime. Most of them scare me. I wish I can meet an anime fan that doesn't change the subject every 5 seconds, uses kawaii or desu in every sentence, or touches me inappropriately. I also wish I can meet an anime fan that doesn't look at me like I'm a dimwit. You would think that since we share the same interests, we could see eye to eye, but nooooo, there is always that one person that knows more than the other...... -__-

XD For me, I'm usually super excited to meet another fan of anime in real life I get an awful case of verbal diarrhea and just start plummeting them with questions about one thing and jumping over to another subject before I even complete my original thought. Social awkwardness at its best! >_< |

I wanna play a party game with anime lovers, where we all draw characters or series from a hat and act them out with each other...maybe even by candlelight.

That sounds quite fun. "Sometimes it comes with a shove, when you fall in love." Add an L at the end of shove and then I will believe you. Let the games begin.. |

It's one of my favorite song lyrics, especially considering I was not remotely expecting to find love, and yet it happened. |
