I've definitely been guilty of changing the subject every 5 seconds! XD For me, I'm usually super excited to meet another fan of anime in real life I get an awful case of verbal diarrhea and just start plummeting them with questions about one thing and jumping over to another subject before I even complete my original thought. Social awkwardness at its best! >_<



Haha, well I dont' have a huge problem with super excited people. I use to be super excited, but after a while I just got tired and became more relaxed. Although I do have many moments of insanity. xD Maybe its just the timing of the situation. If a friend of mine called me to say they're lying in a ditch somewhere in my neighborhood, and I end up asking someone which direction is quicker, but they keep on chatting on and on, I'm gonna get really angry, haha.

I really don't find it that difficult to meet guys that like video games and manga. I think it just depends where you are and where you try to meet them.

If only I could find one in Wisconsin its pretty challenging though since most people here don't know what anime really is lol

Even in grad school I still struggle to find people who like Anime/Manga, and I live in LA. Yea, I go to Anime Expo, but everyone there is in cliques or with their friends. It's annoying how even being a girl, they automatically associate me with watching stuff like naruto and bleach if I tell someone I like anime. Truth be-told, I don't watch fighting stuff....I enjoy sappy romance.

I know right its almost next to impossible to talk to the people in cliques since they all seem preoccupied or uninterested in talking with anyone besides their friends lol. If only they had an anime dating website XD

I'm sure plenty of relationships started on CR. I can't speak for their success rate, though.

I know I'm lucky to have met my girlfriend, and that we already share a love of anime and gaming. She's helping me with the board game I'm developing right now, and if all goes well, it'll be published next year. I never balk at the idea of getting to make new friends, though.

ROFL no offense but they've touched you inappropriately??!

That shouldn't be a GO in for any person whether they're into anime or not. (Unless you wanna be touched then - alrighty then.)
