I'm pretty happy with it.

Though all the butter I've been eating will probably catch up to me in a few years.

In high school I was your average build, not skinny or fat and then came college and I went from about 160 to 260 and my girlfriend at the time told me I was getting too fat for her and that kicked my ass in gear. I bought a pair of running shoes and haven't stopped. Now I exercise regularly and do a lot of rock climbing and disciplined myself into a super strict diet of limited foods. I'm in the bet shape of my life, down to 150 and I can see the six pack forming.

Granted I'm not at my goal weight and look, I know I'm on the right track and from that feeling, I take confidence. I even run without a shirt on now because I want the sun on my skin. People give me funny looks because of my tattoo, but I've learned not to care. I'm not hurting them and I'm proud to be me so whatever they think, doesn't matter in the least.

To those who hate themselves, don't. The will to better yourself in any way you see fit, whether physically, mentally, with your family or friends, in any way, you have it in you. The strength is there, you just have to do it. Push yourself. You can't find the treasure if you don't follow the map and face all the obstacles. You can do it!

Butter is amazing though. And you'll be able to say "Worth it"

I'm a firefighter now, and pretty much top of my game physically, I've bettered myself in every way to be fit. It's all mental now, and I accept that my self image probably won't change much. I also accept that my lack of self confidence is the biggest turn off to any potential GF's and one reason why I've been single for 4 years. But it happens :p

I'm just shy of 6ft, almost 5"11' now, but I was a little shorter back in high school by a couple inches.

I'm okay with my body image.
Although I have my moments of wanting to have paler and smooth a paler skin with a flat stomach.
Then again sometimes I want to be tanner..
Lol I guess it depends on the season as well.
