If you think that's bad, watch Queen's Blade. That series is on an entire different level in terms of fanservice. No series I've seen yet has come close to it- although To Love-Ru Darkness is coming out in October. |

The very idea of too much assumes that fan service wasn't the main goal of the show to begin with. Shows like Sekirei and Queens Blade were made for the primary if not soul reason of anime TNA.

Come on Spring season!!!!!

Eh....no? It's an ecchi show AKA a show who's primary audience are people who like fanservice. And hentai shows don't normally have a decent plot like the second half of QB. You'd have better grounds if you call Seikon no Qwaser a hentai show. Because god dam, if that isn't close! EJHicks wrote: If you think that's bad, watch Queen's Blade. Then you haven't seen Ikki Tousen (Ryofu Housen. End of discussion.) or Qwaser. |

For those days when you've lost, just look up at the stars.

I love Kodomo no Jikan, but it would be a lot better without the uncomfortable fanservice (if you can even call it that) moments.

DUMB!!! the characters suck I can see that, actually although I have to disagree with two points. 1) That's part of the charm, at least for me. Too dumb for mere words. Sorta like a terrible movie. 2) Eh. To each their own. I actually love the characters. Katja and Hanna, man, Katja and Hanna. Dumb was the wrong word. I can live with dumb, as long as it's charming. The word I should've used was "stupid". And I just can't handle stupidity, and certainly not to the degree that Qwaser displays. It just makes me angry. As for the characters, I say they suck because they don't get developed. They're flat, unoriginal and totally uninteresting. Being pretty to look at is not enough. I also forgot to mention that the series is misogynistic, which also puts a sour taste in my mouth. |

Honestly I actually dislike animes with too much fanservice because if it's not part of the storyline yet interferes with it-it really annoys me. I tend to look for anime with a good/unique story and good character development. If it seems interesting I'll watch it. And I have seen some fanservicey animes with good stories and those I'll watch.

Too much fan service is an oxy moron if you ask me. That's like saying I have too much money or there's too much air. Don't blame fan service for a crappy series being crappy. If a series is good, then fan service just makes it a little better. However a series that has nothing to offer except fan service, simply has nothing to offer.

I don't read manga.

...many... many anime.
I'd prefer it if fanservice was non-existent. |

Kiss x Sis and Aki Sora. Then again, those are borderline-hentai so perhaps not.

I would rank Queen's Blade, Qwaser, Ikkitousen, and maybe even Tenjou Tenge as more over the top than Sekirei for fanservice, although to be fair, that isn't saying much. Witchblade (the anime), Freezing and Dragonauts deserve mention, as long as we're on the subject.
Personally, I don't care if the story is good enough; it's just eye candy. But it quickly becomes annoying and juvenile if there isn't a decent story to watch. Thus I thoroughly enjoyed Tenjou Tenge and Sekirei, both of which would probably have been better without so much fanservice because the story was good, but I was done with both Queen's Blade and Qwaser after one episode. What I find thoroughly disgusting though, is "Fanservice" featuring loli characters. Being a parent probably has something to do with that, I suppose. |

I'm not sure. I don't know if I've ever seen animes that have too much fan service.
