i wasn't gunna comment on this until something i really hate came up today and that is reviews of anime that are a page long and insist on telling you the full story if i wanted to know that i would have read the synopsis, all i want to know in a review is a short summary of the anime then a couple of lines about what you though of the show and weather or not its a good watch i have a perfect example

Before I begin the review proper, I must comment that this show seems to be compared to Usagi-drop a lot in the comments. I have not watched or read Usagi-drop and all I know about it is what I looked-up on Wikipedia. So in this review, I will not be comparing Listen To Me Girls I'M Your Father to Usagi-drop in any shape or form.

After watching Episode 1 of Listen To Me Girls I'M Your Father, I was on the fence about this show with a strong inclination to drop it. However, since I found myself still on the fence when Episode 2 was released, I decided to give it another look and ended-up adding it to my queue and also looking into the manga (just first six chapters).

The story in the nutshell is that Yuuta Segawa, who lost his own parents when he was a child, and was raised single-handedly by his elder sister Yuri, who was then just a high school student, finds himself in the position of having to render the same service to his sister's children. However, Yuuta's position is complicated in that Yuuta (19) moved out of the his parents house, which he had shared with his sister up until then, while still in high school because he objected to the man his sister was set to marry.

Yuuta's, understandable, objections stemmed from the fact that Yuri's first ever marriage was going to take place to a man who had already been married twice before and has two daughters, Sora and Miu, from his previous marriages. Sora's mother has passed away but Miu's foreigner mother is alive but apparently not in the picture. Yuri, however, goes ahead with her intended marriage and in due course, gives birth to a child of her own: Hina. It is implied that while Yuuta was in contact with Yuri, he's visits to their old house - now inhabited by Yuri, her husband their the three girls, was infrequent at best. Hina, for one, seems to have no memory of her uncle prior to the events depicted in the anime.

Yuuta's own life consists of going to college, holding down a part-time job to pay the rent on his six tatami flat and trying to attract the attention of his busty senpai Raika Oda, for whose sake he ends-up joining the Street Observation Research Society (SS). However, this existence is rocked with his sister asks him to watch the girls for a week while she accompanies her husband on a business trip. The girls also entreat him to watch them as Yuri and their father are yet to go on their honeymoon and so the girls really want them to go on this trip together.

What should have been just a short break from his usual routine takes the turn for the permanent when Yuri's plane disappears and Yuri's husband's family decide to separate the girls between them. Legally, Yuuta only has a say in Hina's future but Yuuta makes an offer to all the girls to come to his place. Saying that while he is poor and their life would be very difficult, they could all be together. His offer, as much a result of his past, when his sister opted to raise him herself then be separated from him, as it is for the sake of the girls.

This is pretty much the setting for both the heart felt drama and the ecchiness. The manga, which begins very differently from the anime, is VERY graphic with its ecchiness. Indeed in the anime Yuuta walks in on Sora in her underwear while they are still in the big family house with two bathrooms, so you can imagine how much "accidentally walks in on the girls in the bathroom" or related scenarios are going to happen when the four of them move to his six tatami apartment. Add to this mix the fact that Sora (14) and Miu (10) are not related by blood to Yuuta and while Miu and Yuuta have a perfectly normal brother-sister type relationship, Sora already nurses a one-sided crush on Yuuta. Then there is Yuuta's own crush Raika, who you can just tell by looking is another character who is going to be used for ecchi fan-service.

If you are into ecchi, and given that the anime does not seem to have a mature classification probably means that the anime will be a lot tamer then the manga, well there is no problem here. However, if you not into ecchi the question becomes if the stories "heart", which is the struggles of three girls whose dearest wish is to remain together and the man who brings hardship upon himself in order to give them an opportunity to stay together, is worth putting-up with the ecchi-ness. I for one get the feeling that it might be worth putting-up with the perverted fanservice but only future episodes will tell.
less

the part in red is his thought but he goes on about ecchiness and fan service there is no fan service in this anime and it isn't an ecchi how did 20 people find this helpful he just explains what happens in the first 2 episodes

I love the people who are nice enough to give you the finger after you honk your horn at them because they're too busy texting to go when the light turns green.

I have to say that I do not hate many things but I dislike a lot, BUT I do HATE POLITICIANS! I dislike the current President and we need a new one. I hate waking up in the morning and always have a dry mouth. I hate the humidity in Louisiana. I also very much dislike, on the border line of hate, people who cry out for equality but then turn around and ask for their handouts and special treatments. Also the people who use all of the Federal help, and are perfectly healthy people who do not do anything to better themselves but think they are entitled to every government handout. (NOTE: I am saying perfectly healthy people not people with any type of disability that prevents him/her from work/activities).........I will not get on my soap box with this thread but felt like getting off a little steam after watching the DNC....Peace

How about greedy or inconsiderate people? They, in a nutshell, are the root of all problems in the world. If all people were considerate to each other and were only half as greedy as they are now, life would be so much better!

DangerousYams

Oh my God, this. I follow the speed limit, and do everything by the book when driving, but f-ing dangerous inconsiderate a-holes have almost killed me 10 times already, 4 of which were in the same damn place.

I hate, yes hate(or we can go with strongly dislike, whatever your preference):
- People who continuously attack another persons morality, ethics, and intellect/intelligence, based on their own retarded assumptions and ass backward beliefs/ideals.
- People who think they "know it all" and "love the smell and taste of their own farts"/"think their $#!+ doesn't stink".
- People who twists others words and intentions.
- People who constantly love to argue and debate yet have no intention of meeting somewhere in the middle or even try to understand where the other person is coming from, yet want to/continue to argue and debate because they love the sound of their own voice and opinions to the point where they are basically performing auto-fellatio(I guess it's the same as "loving the smell of their own farts" but I really wanted to use the this term as well)
- People who judge/view others as whole, rather than each individual person.
- People who use the term "close(d)-minded". Really? You have never picked a side without budging before?
- People who constantly look down on others and feel the need to always be a condescending *****.
- People who constantly goad/try to goad others into any type of fight/argument(sometimes desperately trying to pull them back into one) because they can't accept the fact that the person they have chosen to attack and humiliate decides/decided to be the more "mature" person and walk away.
- People who use and manipulate others.

Many other things as well but that is what I got for now.

hhhmmm....

People who add me and our convo is only up to "nice to meet you" =.=''
Here's the cycle.. People add me > I say thank you, introduce my name > they introduce theirs > I say "nice to meet you"

and of course from here on I'm expecting them to actually start a topic :|
I hate it when people only reply "nice meet you too" and now, what?
I, for one, think that THEY should start the damn topic of the convo.
And if I reply with "sooo, what do you wanna talk about?"
they respond with none =.=

I am lazy to think of one and I think I shouldn't be doing it
what was the reason you added me, you fucker.
These are all just fuckery.

Those who say "soo... sup?" or "how are you?" are very much appreciated.

Another thing..

those who added me and suddenly tells me "I'm sorry but I'm going to have to delete you because you dont talk to me much"
what fuckery is this? seriously. YOU added me.

I do not see the logic in this.
I think I dont have the obligation of talking to all the people who added me.

I do talk to the ones I added tho. All the 3 of them.
aint I a nice person?

THESE ARE JUST BULLSHIT.
