Hey Guys!
It's that time of year again... that's right, the smell of new textbooks and binders, cracking open the spine of a fresh notebook, waiting to be filled with another year's worth of lectures, teachers and white-boards and overhead projectors... that's right! It's BACK TO SCHOOL TIME! *cue Jaws theme* Now, we here at Crunchyroll understand that going back to school is probably not something to look forward to, (all that homework, less time to watch your favorite anime!) which is why we're here to make it better! ![]() For those of you enrolled in an institute of higher learning and are in possession of a .edu email address, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial on Crunchyroll! Simply head to http://www.crunchyroll.com/backtoschool and enter your .edu email for your coupon code. Already have an account with us? Print out flyers and let everyone in your dorm know! What a great way to make friends and meet new people! (And find out who the anime fans are on your floor!) For those you of who don't have a .edu email, but are enrolled in a university elsewhere, you can still get the 30-day free trial! Simply shoot an email to support@crunchyroll.com with your school email, along with a link to your school's webpage, and we'll send you a coupon code! We're also interested in all the anime clubs out there! If your club wants access to the latest and greatest series from Japan, tell them to drop us a line at http://www.crunchyroll.com/help?topic=contact and we'll provide them with a premium membership. Also, we want to see what your guys' anime club meetings are like! What's your favorite aspect of your anime club? Have you made any crazy/awesome memories from your time there? To get things started, I've posted a shot of my anime club alllll the way back from when we were at Fanime 2004. The first time our comics club in high school went to Fanime with an Artist's Alley table in 2004. This was before they moved it into one of the exhibition halls! I remember organizing the whole group, arranging rides, and playing phone tag for hours the night before. (Ah, the days before everyone had cell phones and we could just text each other instead...) It was the first time anyone else in the club had ever been to a con aside from myself, so it was definitely an eye-opener for some of them, but ultimately a fun trip. We didn't really have any clue what we were doing, or how to really sell from an Artist's Alley table, but just being surrounded by other people who shared your interests and hobbies was an amazing experience. In fact, several members of the club went on to become awesome cosplayers and regulars at future Artist Alleys! So take pictures, send us videos, and post them in the thread below. Bonus points if you guys are watching Crunchyroll! |

All the nice school bonuses only years after I concluded college... But on the other hand, I feel there's one benefit that outweighs all that: no school.
I assisted running a club in high school. This kind of bonus is definitely great for a club. |

Now if only crunchy wasn't blocked as "Games" here, probably because of the news section specifically >_> it'd be awesome if you guys made it usable in school somehow though (no anime for 7 hrs = 死 : P
