Ef- a tale of memories and Ef- a tale of melodies. I prefer the first season though the second season's ending is far better. It's actually one of the better endings for any anime I've ever seen. Both seasons are 2 of the best animes on crunchyroll. So good in fact I bought both seasons on blu-ray after watching them

Oh and also, Madoka Magica. Don't let it's style put you off though. It's not your everyday anime. Plus it's short so you wont waste your time if you don't like it but watch it through, its really really good.
