I have dated and would continue to date religious women, even though I'm not religious myself.
I wouldn't marry a religious woman though, as a personal preference.
The thought of going to religious ceremonies or worship, and having my kids being taught from antiquated religious texts, does not appeal to me.

If they could accept that I don't really want to be involved with that part of their life, I would happily date a religious person; and, in return, I wouldn't try to force my beliefs on them.
If it ever got that far, I'd expect them to respect how I'd like to raise my children, though- namely, not pushing any kind of religious beliefs on them, and allowing them to choose for themselves, with the exception of offering a little bit of guidance if they get involved with something I find worrying.

I dont see how religion has to get in my way.

I hear ya. I have no problems if it's something she would want to do on her own, or if my kids would want to explore it on their own and try it out... but no way I'm going to push it.
My ideal wedding would be going to a courthouse to sign the paper, then throw a huge party with a bunch of mutual friends. Grill some stuff, karaoke it out, drink like there's no tomorrow...

That sounds like a wedding I'd want to go to, haha. Honestly, if I do end up at a church ceremony, it will only be on tradition and because the bride "expects it," not because I believe that God is blessing my marriage, or because I think church is a great, pure institution.

Well the person im dating dosent belive in god, im kinda forced to belive in god. Bible says gays lesbains and bi-sexuals are abominations, I screwed the bible and im dating a girl, love is love let it be. I wont listen to a book that calls me an abomination, its a book am I suppose to feel bad about myself? Its a book cant hurt me, Though I half belive in god half not, science seems to prove its way threw a lot. My parents are really into the religion, im not really into it like them but I guess I betrayed them for love.

This should be fight between believing something you dont have experienced yourself vs real real feeling you are experiencing everymoment
Anybody to be controlled enough to leave someone who he/she feels strongly tied with just because your mind is telling you that there is a believesystem created over hundreds of years ago.
Existence is all loving not all prisonment. believe itself is prison on your mind.
I would destroy the prison with anymean necessary if the thing i believed would apart my way of true exisctence that is love i would burn every bible every quran every statue every church tossled a pope and handcuffd jesus.

Love is a true force of nature, religion is not. Love should, and does, trump religion on every level. But alas, many people will never understand that.
