Am I the only one who doesn't think they are all that heavy? Awesome! honestly I wouldn't have a clue, I want to hold a real sword~ I have a couple katana and while they definitely have a weight to them they are really no big deal in my opinion. Maybe people are referring to the other types. Something getting in the way of you owning one? Or do you not want one and just want to hold one once? I do want one, I just haven't a clue where to get one from... o.o; |

I personally prefer Masahiro swords. They might not be what is preferred for actually wielding a sword but they are strong and can be used a bit and look great. |

Anything less and you are looking at more sketchy swords that should definitely only be bought for looks. |

Out of curiosity does anyone else actually feel more comfortable when their room/home have swords in them? I'm lying on my bed in my bedrooom and the fact that both a sharp katana and bokken are a step or two away makes me feel at ease
I read about a Japanese swordmaster(modern day) who made sure to have a weapon in every room in his home in case he ever needed one. While I'd like to think I keep them close by purely for self defense part of me is just fascinated by them. Sometimes I wonder why I care about being proficient wiith such an anachronistic weapon as guns and knives are far more efficient. |

I have held some katanas, but they were not genuine.

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.

My brother also did this, and many other men that I know. My son has done the same thing since he was one or two - stashing weapons everywhere (just in case). He's always been pretty manly. I roll with it by mounting our weapons (bokken and such) on the walls with coat hooks. It's economical, flexible, and rapidly accessible when needed. |

The same thing we do every night, Pinky...

I'm also trained in the Dragon style, and went undefeated in a mixed weapon martial tournament. |
