Yes I have this is old though, but the sword is still laying back here behind me. It may just be a cosplay sword but I still like it.

Yep, my cousin somehow got one but broke it eventually. Ha. I still have my wooden swords. Also two others my friends had that were pretty nice.

This is my collection of blades. A couple were designed by fantasy weapon designer Kit Rae. The top Katana and the fourth one down are the real ones. The rest are purely ornamental.

Is that a Hanwei/Paul Chen you've got at the top? Looks like ones of the Practical or Practical Pluses...

I practice Kendo, So I'm used to using a Shinai (bamboo sword) however for a demonstration for a our club we invited Master Dan Watson owner/creator of angle sword @ http://www.angelswordstore.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=30&Itemid=64Know for having the sharpest and hardest swords in the world, His swords currently hold the tameshigiri http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVKozx4d4YQ world record of 25 cut in a single slice. At the club event I had a chance to practice a few cuts on a tameshigiri with one of his swords. The best way to describe his swords is like slicing through butter with a light saber. I am currently saving up to purchase one. unfortunately they are a bit pricey as each is hand made. check out his video on his site.

It's not a Paul Chen blade. I don't remember the name of the forger but what I do remember is that it is a company much smaller than Hanwei and it was made by a blacksmith. It also came with a sword maintenance kit which is nice. It was quite a lot of money. Over $1000.

It looks very nice. I just assumed it was a Paul Chen cause it was black and I couldn't see the tsuba and most people buy Paul Chens for a first carbon steel blade, thats what I did. Yours sounds really awesome though!
