I've held a WWII Japanese Officers Sword that my Great Aunt got from nursing a wounded American Army Officer during WWI. She gave it to my dad so thats how I have gotten to hold it the blade is still very sharp. Also i recently learned about my family history and have a replica sword of what my Ancestors had its a longsword in with the Spanish look

i held one when i went to an anime convention 4 years ago, some guy was cosplaying bleach and i asked if i could feel and hold his sword.

I used to be a fencer, so I've mostly went sabre. Really the more brutal part of fencing, but so much more satisfying. I also owned a rapier, but I was unable to bring it with me the last time I moved, it was a damned good sword though.

I studied in Japan for about a year and while there i took kendo. After a year my master decided to give me a sword as a parting gift. so yes, and it is on a custom stand in my apartment

I have held a Spartan Xiphos replica which is a short sword. Didn't really make me feel like the greatest warrior in history though.
Also held a medieval long sword when I was like ten, I say "held" but it was more resting on the ground because it was heavy! D:
