Cool, the more natural look on a woman for me is preferred, but some make up is ok... just not so much that she looks like a totally different person without it.

I've been told off several times because I have "a pretty face" but I don't use makeup. But the reason I don't use it is because I can't.

ASo one should be just comfortable with oneself. Screw others who disagree because they're as deep as the first layer of skin cells of a recently exfoliated woman.

I've always wanted to be taller. I admit to being a bit on the fluffy side, even more so than I'd like to be. However, I've always felt that if I was at least 3-6 inches taller, then people wouldn't poke fun at me as much. It's always been an ego boost whenever someone did flirt with me, especially in reality. But I've always had a bit of skepticism when it would happen because it's so rare when it does. I understand that to a small handful of people I am the sexiest thing alive. Not always do I feel that way.

WELL,there are Men who think women should look like models. And from where I live which is in Miami...everyone here is hot! Our city is number 6 in the world of hottest females. It is not so much of the media it just that girls and women want to look better than other females. So girls see someone they view in their eye as perfect, they try to find something wrong with themselves instead of appreciating what they have that is attractive(or what they consider is attractive on them). It is not so much of the media it is just females like to compare each other even if they are best friends they still wanna look better than each other. Now I am not so much into this but if I see a female that is well dress and I am looking sloppy or whatever....I would think to myself I think I need to work on my appearance. Other than that most females compare each other I think it is a naturally instinct to know our competition. To know where we place with our fellow peers. An also females stop comparing yourselves to other females you will never look exactly like that person so stop trying to be that person. Noone is perfect so comparing yourself to someone who isnt perfect it just plain out stupid. Guys do this also they compare themselves with other males, but not to scrutinizing details us women tend to do!

A lady who is confident would be preferred. Also a person who is KINDA arrogant can be brought down to earth, while someone with low self-esteem can be uplifted by another, but a narcissist is on a totally different level and probably needs help from a professional to see reality.

i don't know. i tend to compare myself with models although i know they're photoshopped. my lack of self-esteem gave me insecurities. :/ i need to work that on.

What I don't get is this 'media is brainwashing us!' stuff, like without media we wouldn't care how we look. I get the photoshop part being new, but women have been wearing makeup for over 4000 years. There wasn't some point in history where women were only judged on their personality and now the cold modern world has taken us away from that utopia. Heck, just the IDEA of being attracted to someone based on personality instead of looks or monetary value only became popular around 300 years ago.

While growing up if someone ever says "wow I'm so happy with my body" a whole bunch of other people are going to think you're obsessed with yourself so I think girls sometimes think that they really can't love their bodies because then you'll just look so obsessed or just weird and also society always makes girls believe that they have to have like the perfect big lips, skinny waist, big butt and boobs, colorful eyes,straight hair, etc. so when some girls see that they don't have what society wants they think that their bodies are horrible when they're really not D:

The media and my peers are bitches, that is why.

That doesn't stop anyone from hitting the chocolate though.

Its not how I look that I'm obsessed with but my body is my machine to perform so if its not ticking properly I get really frustrated. Ageing everyday and I want to make the most of my fighting career while I'm young and super fit.
