My sister is really really good at drawing i wonder why she wouldnt take it seriously and make a career out of it.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into it. The only way I really know how to get my compositions out is by humming and recording it. I could sing it.. But i'm a bit shy around singing. I plan to become a professional at piano and violin (Oh boy, it's going to be hard work) and teach them. Haha, I won't turn into one of those incredibly harsh and scary teachers that will hit you if you make a mistake. I don't think...

I really am in a bad stage in my life, so I really don't know whether i'll make it as a professional or anything at all. But I won't be going down without a fight.

I hope the future bodes well for you.

man shyness is one of the stages of great musician if you can get pass that stage you will be one step closer to what you want to do. man i believe you will get pass all the bad stages, and see a path that will guide you into being a professional or not, and bro no one really knows whether we will make it as a professional or not man we just follow our hearts. bu that't the beauty of it man because that gives us hope and motivates us to work hard. if we did know if we were gonna make it i believe we would turn out lazy and stuff xD but man you got it and i hope to here some of you stuff soon man. you have audiences all around !

Haha, thanks again man. You remind me of the things I say to people. I really should be listening to my own advice.
But yeah it's true. No one really knows how the future will be, but it doesn't mean that you're not allowed to grab what you want.
If you truly want it, then hold onto it with all you can, eventually it'll come true. Standing around in one spot won't get you anything, you have to get it yourself. Don't be afraid to take steps because every step is the closing gap between you and the future that you want.

I'm not so shy when it comes to playing the piano, people always praise and admire me highly when I do. I'm timid when it comes to my ability as a musician. I can admit that i'm better than average, but I just can't wait to get better. It's exciting to see how i'll get there.
Maybe you'll hear some of my stuff in the future, you never know.

I compose music in my head. Unfortunately, I forget it by the time I get to write any part of it down. Also because I'm not talented enough to put it from my head straight down to paper and on instrument. I hope to become fluent and able to do it easily in the future. I constantly listen to music and make different variations. Right now I play the piano, I used to also play the violin and bass but I stopped. I'll get back into it when I have a stable enough life to spend time on my passion. Even gather several musicians to form a group, I used to have one in the past.

Strangely enough, my mind starts to compose music when i'm really tired or in a very relaxed state. I can't come up with it compositions when I force myself to. My mind gets very light hearted and my emotions sing with every note that I feel and want to hear. It's still quite bizzare on how my body reacts to music. But what I do know is without music I would be absolutely lifeless.

they say that the music that we listen to is what makes us who we are. like i listen to new age music a lot Naicisum your on the right start i recommend a program like finale to help you write down what you hear on your head. i can play what i hear in my head but i play on auto pilot so i never know what i play. you will learn everything in time, i myself don't know whats happening but if we keep on moving forward and if we keep up to our goal we will one day get to the top of the mountain lol just take it slow. let it be natural that all. i believe that you can do what ever you want to do and no one will ever stop you from what you do ^_^

@mnaolu00 in what case do you mean instumentals cause i know like anime instrumental like dragon ballz and ost, or classical music wth orchestra, or new age music which is like piano only for that you can look up danny wright beautiful stuff there, and about my composition well >.> i believe there horrible but that's how supposedly writers and artist are they think all there work is horrible. but i have a youtube page just look up federicozegarra and you'll see me but like bad quality im learning how to do better editing xD, but enjoy!!

do share with me please. thats my sanctuary right there. i listen to a lot of orchestrated work, be it from games movies or animes i've seen. if it catches my attention, it sparks my imagination thank you! and i will definitely check out your page!

are you kidding me? people just don't understand. they think because they've seen the same thing over and over again that its not considered art. its really all a preference and not knowledge since what you can do, most people can't. so they can huuush. great drawing!!

so are you stil working on this animation? is it just something you're playing with for the time being like a small clip or are you trying to make this into something big??

Yes I am still working on this. Its suppose to be combined into one movie. So far i got half the backgrounds done and I got about 3 more scenes to go. I am planning to improve all the clips once I get all the roughs done. I have more clips here:

I write practically anything from poetry to just plain story writing I'm an amateur artist to some extent and actually drew something and colored it purely in paint with a mouse at the time. The following is a sample cut from something I wrote a few months back:

It was a beautiful day much like any other; the birds sung their morning chorus and the grass swayed in the gentle sea breeze. The sound of the waves kissing the shore until a mighty crash jolts the sleeper awake. It was a young woman. Her long ebon hair shimmered in the fragmented light scattered by the leaves above; her crisp bold lips parting with a deep exhaling sigh. Her eyes slowly gazed up at the collage of colours lingering in the canopy. A single bird squawking in fear before beating its wings for a hasty escape from her stare.

Whether or not I aspire to become an animator I don't know. But It's part of my College course this year. Not to mention that my profile pic is just an enhanced picture from Elfen Lied too.

Hi everybody!

Well it looks like a lot of people is doing art at some level here. It's very inspiring to see so many people interested in art in different genres.
I love to write as much as I love to read. Currently I'm reading the second book of Game of Throne and the light novel Sword Art Online.

I have written a lot of short stories, and I just decided 3 weeks ago that I was going to write a complete novel, and I'm currently on the 3rd chapter, and the time goes incredibly fast while I'm on it, I just love to do it. I don't know if is good or not, but I really don't care. However, I spend a lot of time reading, and the feelings and that I get while I do it, the happiness, the joy, as well as the fear, sadness and suspense, is kind of entertainment that I can't find in any other way, and if I can give someone else that feelings, only one person, then the time I spend on it would be totally worth it.

That was my plan originally. Now that I've actually started, professor keeps mentioning stuff about being a graphic designer, I have no idea where I'll end up.

That's what it's all about! Creating, sharing, and doing what you love to do! Like with me, I also love writing, graphic design, and drawing though my writing and graphic design abilities are a step above my drawing abilities heh. I make tons of signatures mostly anime characters and most of them are on my profile with the latest ones always being at the bottom of my profile page. Sometimes I write short stories in an anime character's perspective for example Ran (secondary main character) from Texhnolyze. I wrote in 1st person what her thoughts toward changing as a person because of Ichise (main character) would be like if she expressed them more (perhaps more directly). In the anime Ichise is a former ring fighter in the underground city of Lux ( the gang deathmatch type) who crossed a gangmember and as punishment got his arm and leg cut off. He was given texhnolyzed (basically robotic) replacements and his hatred for his new limbs and just that raw emotion to survive in the beginning drove him onward and into a somewhat violent person. He eventually slowly gives up trying to live on and around that time Ran saves his life multiple times and through their interactions within the story Ichise grows more passive and finds something new to live on for, which is protecting Ran. By the end of story he changes almost completely. With Ran, on the other hand, it's never directly stated if Ichise helped her change as a person as well. For most of the story she is very gloomy and not as outgoing as she wants to truly be. To better explain she is her village's current (by extension also the city's) generation of Seer, who can see into the future and discover the fate of a person. The problem is all she sees is the bad, depressing, gloomy, dark, horrible fates of everyone and even though she really wants to she can't stop seeing them or find the courage to change/stop them on her own. It's indirectly (not clearly though) implied that she did find the courage and motivation to do something that changed her from who she was most of the story because of Ichise. But we really only see Ichise's change and his views, not Ran's. So I wrote a short narrative from the perspective of Ran on how Ichise changed her as a person and a little extra that brings her character together. The anime is very very dark and aside from Ichise and Ran's relationship it also centers around the end of mankind through people's insanity/failure to evolve. Great anime by the way and highly underrated. I also write longer stories closer to novel format which I do have two concepts I'm working on and slowly progressing, which I won't post them here cause I don't want a giant wall of useless text I'm sure nobody's going to read, unless someone wants me to. On a side note... look I drew Asuka Langley Shikinami from Evangelion and Birdy Cephon Altera from Birdy the Mighty: Decode!

LOL its ok! go far and deep! its all about exploration. and hun i understand where you're coming from about your skill tree. it takes some time, but you'll always find out eventually what you're best at. what do you like to do?

I draw, paint, write(short stories and screen-plays), I've tried just about everything I can....except for music. Never learned to read it....the infamous american education system failed me there..... I would really really love to play an instrument but I'd have to start from the ground up.
