The title says it all, today is 9/11 the mark of the 11th anniversary since that fateful day that shock the whole world. I remembering how I was in kindergarten when this happen. My mom & I didn't leave the house for two days as people were afraid we were under attack. I didn't really know what was going on due to my young age, but fear might have reach me during that day if I can't remember it clearly.

What were you guys doing on that day? Were you afraid or too young to know what was going on? Plus remember to take a moment of silence at least once during your day to respect the souls that were lost on that day.

I was also in kindergarten when it happened. I didn't really know what was going on, nor did anyone explain it to me until I was of the age where I could understand. I remember my Mom was in tears, and other people were crying too. One of my neighbors had a heart attack after it was aired. THAT was terrifying. My mom crying, my family watching the news, and an ambulance screaming in my neighborhood. That's all I remember of that day.

I was in 6th grade. The teachers were constantly talking amongst themselves but not telling us. Parents kept coming to pick up their kids. I found out about it at the bus stop when i got off the bus to walk home. My friend told me...

I was still in Asia when that happened.

I was very small when it happened.

I remember the two buildings on tv, the smoke, fire and chaos...I remember seeing the plane crash into the buildings, and I saw them tumble down.

No...That's not something I will ever forget.

I was in my fifth grade GT class. We were watching the new like we did every morning when the second plane hit the towers. At that moment it just seemed incredibly surreal. Then parents started signing their kids out of school, no one knew what was going on and we lived about 30 miles away from a nuclear power station. No one knew what was going to be hit next. We all sat in front of the T.V and watched. It wasn't till I saw people jumping out of the burning buildings that it really hit me what was happening. All I could think of is how hopeless those people must have felt that they chose to jump rather than stay in the building. Honestly I still get emotional when I see that footage.

I happened to be living in Brooklyn, New York at the time. I was in the 3rd grade and in school. From my class room on the top floor you could clearly see the World Trade Center and my class and I unfortunately saw when both the planes struck the towers. They then moved us to the other side of the building so we couldn't see anything else that was going on over there. No one really knew what was going on exactly (there of course was lots of speculation) and it was pretty frightening... but I will never forget that day.

I was in kindergarten too. I don't really much, but our parents were terrified and everyone came and picked us up. This event was very horrible. I only learned about it in 6th grade and the teacher told me Afghanistan paraded when it happened. I wonder what twisted mind would ever think killing innocent people is okay.

I was in my 4th grade gifted education class. All I remember is all the chaos and confusion as parents showed up to pick up their kids from school early.

I was in 8th grade in Mr. White's history class when Mrs. Taylor came into the room looking like she had seen a ghost. They turned on the TV they use to discuss current events and "we" were still in the stage of thinking it may have been an accident and then the second plane hit. Mrs. Taylor started to cry, Mr. White ran out of the room to find another teacher and then we students were herded into the gym where we told from this moment on, our nation is under attack. I live in Boston so it was a very big deal because 2 of the planes left from Boston's Logan airport and the entire city went into a panic mode I'd never seen before. Everyone thought we were next.

I was 9 in fourth grade. My parents were afraid and the news showed it when my brother and I were going to school because for some reason we were late and I remember asking my mom lots of questions about "why it was happening and what was going on?".

I was 3 or something when this happened...so I don't really remember too much. But I have a couple of friends whose birthdays are today...yeah, I wonder what it was like for them.
