Bleach Season 16

However, I was wondering if this was actually the final season. I know on the Shonen Jump English website it says it is actually cancelled, which leads me to believe so. But with the manga still going, and the season ending on something like March 27th 2012, my hope hasn't completely diminished. Has anyone heard any final announcements concerning the anime?

Though as popular and successful as it was, I have absolutely no doubt what so ever that once the manga sees its final chapter, the anime will return for some closure ala Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha. But until that day comes, there won't be any talk of the series return.

But to answer your question, no. There hasn't been any "news" about it coming back.

It died along with Ulquiorra... apart from episode 308/309 when instead of fighting himself Ichigo decides to be a badass and smack Super-Saiyan-Butterfly-Aizen about. Silliness aside, the new arc in the manga does not impress and feels like it just wants attention.

It is ok I just don't have to have it in my collection. I wish bleach could go on I guess I have to go back to reading the manga.
