What did u think of Apple's announcement of the new iPhone 5?

Apple needs to invent something that I give a damn about. Like an app that digitally transfers waffles to my plate.

I'm sticking to my 4s. I don't even use Siri anyway. I wouldn't care for the Iphone 5.

The i5 doesn't have much that has changed, which is kind of disappointing. Everything that they came out with was already leaked!
Good thing though, now that the i5 is out, I can now get a cheaper i4s.

I love Android and am kind of a fanboy, but their phones are getting too big for my small hands and I don't like how not all phones get updated. ): (Without rooting and changing the ROM.)
I have an Atrix 4G that I will still of course mess with to play the stuff that only Android has and am thinking about getting a 4s for my primary! Woo woo.

Think I'll be sticking with my 4s for a while. The iPhone 5 really isn't anything new.

I'm happy sticking to my 3GS. I got it after the 4 came out. But I just want a smartphone; I don't need the most expensive, latest version.

Not really interested, there is not much (actually nothing) new that I consider a must have and it looks a scheme to get people to buy some over priced cables and accessories (since Apple won't let anyone else make them with the new dock connector for the time being). I have an iPhone 4s and I think my next one will be an Android.

Apple... never... I'm perfectly happy with Android and my Evo 4G. I'm not even sure why Apple releases so many versions of its products, other than to make money. I mean yeah all the fanboys will argue to the death with you over how much better the iPhone 5 is over the 4s... but then again people will argue over how much cooler the newest version of Call of Duty is over the last one too.

My general beef with Apple isn't necessarily their products, it's their marketing, the absurd amount of money they charge, and often the arrogant users of the products who think that because they piece of fruit on the back of their stuff that it makes it and them better... yet they could never actually give a decent reason WHY it's better, and why they paid 100% more money for it... that stuff bothers me the most.

For all those reason, I'll never buy Apple... the iPhone 5 doesn't seem like anything special anyway.

I do however want a Samsung Note tablet...

"complete redesign" my ass. it looks just like my 4 just thinner and taller and a metal back.... thats tweaking, not total redesign... ok so its got more ram and a better processor.....the hardware on that phone is already outdated and theres phones with bigger screens. I was waiting to see what this was gonna be (hoping it wasnt like all the 'leaks' ive been seeing on the internet) but now that ive seen it, im getting an android, probably the htc one x + that is supposedly being announced next week. The only thing tying me to my iphone anymore was the car connection but i can just use a normal ipod for that and my new car has blu tooth so i can connect it that way if i wanna use pandora or something......

IMO.. Apple just completely lost this year.

i would love to see a valid arguement by them about how the 5 is "leaps and bounds" better than the 4s... and as for the CoD comment.... no... just no.... CoD has fallen off and the fan boys need to shut their whore mouths and get BF3 like normal people.... I love their "CoD is so realistic" argument... no guns dont shoot lasers and i promise u a 12 guage to the head will kill u weather ur wearing a bulletproof helmet or not...

I agree with your "fan boys are idiots" thought process.

Over hyped in my view. I do have an iPhone 4S which I'm still pretty happy with, so I don't really feel the need to upgrade, even if the iPhone 5 has a couple more upgraded features. It's not enough to win me over. I'm not exactly a power user of smartphones anyway, and I only upgrade mobile every 2-3 years. By the time I upgrade, Apple would of announced or released the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6... Perhaps?
