Whats up guys,

You may have seen the Crunchyroll News post regarding the Blu-ray release of Bakemonogatari.
Well, it's also streaming here on CR (sadly not in Blu-ray), starting tomorrow at 10 am!!!
Now, Nisemonogatari will FINALLY have more meaning and texture!

For all those lucky viewers - both premium and free members - residing in the US and Canada, you will be able to view one episode every Friday.



If you've never heard of this series, here's what you are in store for:
Bakemonogatari was written by Nisioisin, one of the most popular writers in Japan, and the series consists of 5 different stories.

Thanks to Meme Oshino, Koyomi Araragi, a high school student, is able to remain a human after coming across a female vampire..

However, since the incident, Koyomi seems to meet girls who have an apparition-related issue. Hitagi Senjyogahara doesn’t weigh anything, Suruga Kanbaru’s right arm becomes like that of a monkey’s, and a young girl, Mayoi, cannot find her way home no matter how many times she tries. Koyomi, a Mr. Nice Guy, ends up helping each and every girl solve her problem with the help of Meme Oshino."

To keep the good times rolling, we've also just launched Legends of the Dark King!



Legends of the Dark King will be available for US and Canada audiences only. Premium users will have all the episodes available to them immediately, while free users will get four episodes per week every week until the series completion.

At last I can experience Senjougahara at her finest once again! Her near-absence was my number one gripe with Nisemonogatari (not that I had many gripes, although I had a couple others.) Bakemonogatari is a masterpiece, and I hope many new viewers enjoy it as much as I did.

Great addition! Loved the mono series. Absolutely cannot wait for the movie!

Hmm... it's a shame that Nisemonogatari is available in some territories outside North America, whereas Bakemonogatari is not. But I guess that's to be expected since it's a North American BD/DVD tie-in. I really, really love Bakemonogatari, and would heartily recommend it to all those who are lucky enough to be able to see it on here!

No UK/europe release -> kinda lame?
