Nice. I was waiting for this (Bakemonogarari). I'll have to give Nisemonogatari then another try afterwards.

Wow! Looks like we are the only two that care about Dark King. I guess most North Star fans have not read this yet.

Yah. I loved the original series (still working my way through it again in fact). I saw this a few years back but never followed up on looking into watching it until I saw this announcement.

Well done, and thank you. I passed on Nisemonogatari (although almost gave in after seeing bits that came out of it) per my focus on watching different seasons of a show in their appropriate order. I've heard a lot of great things of both, I am excited to go through them.

You should really add to the description that the Legends of the Dark King is a spinoff of Fist of the North Star. I was thinking, "in plot and in art it seems quite similar", but I see that is no accident. I look forward to it.

Thanks so very much for Bakemonogateri . I do have a question though: will we get all 15 episodes or just the first 12 as those were the broadcasted episodes? I appreciate that CR will be streaming it, I just hope that it's complete.

No UK/europe release -> kinda lame?

Agreed though i have seen and enjoyed Bakemonogatari, it still does my head in that crunchyroll continues to aim for US release and anything else is just a bonus. Annoys me no end that something is translated to english being streamed in English paying for the same full membership and yet not being able to see it because i dont live in the US.

Its pretty depressing at times, i wouldnt mind paying more, hell i'd pay double if it got me full access to everything, as since the day i joined i have always been a paying member. I watch pretty much anything and everything on here available to the UK. Being very limited in what and where we can legally watch anime online Crunchyroll is to my knowledge one off if not the only option for doing it legally in the UK, excluding the limited amount you get with Sky etc on various channels.

It would be nice to see all subscribers treated equally for a change, the world consists of more than America.

Library titles are more often than not obtained from a U.S. video distributor, which means they only have the rights available for the United States and Canada to grant to Crunchyroll.

If this follows the pattern of the other Aniplex USA streams, it will also be on Hulu and Crackle.

Another factor to keep in mind is that more of Crunchyroll's revenue comes from the United States (the last time I saw a number, more from the U.S. than all other countries combined), which makes for a bigger pot to pay for license minimum guarantees from.

Wait, you're going to stall the release as if it was airing on TV? This is a streaming service, damnit. Your selection is already lacking some major titles, why do you torture me so?
