Just wanted to do a quick update on the new version of the iOS App.
2.01 was released this past Tuesday.
There have been some major issues with the app and we are currently working to resolve them.
Video looping to the beginning. - We have done two internal pushes to resolve this issue.
'Done' Button does not work. - Engineers are currently looking into this.
App does not open / make it past initial Crunchyroll screen. - Engineers are currently looking into this.
If you are experiencing the above mentioned problems, please supply the following information either via an email to the Customer Support queue, or as a post in this thread.
Can you please tell me what kind of device you have?
Can you please tell me what version iOS it is running?
Can you please tell me if this happens over Wi Fi / 3G, 4G?
Can you please tell me which shows and episodes this has happened during?
Can you please tell me at what time during the show this happened.
Other Known Issues
Airplay - If screen lock is enabled, this will interrupt Airplay. - Engineers are currently working on this problem.
HDMI / Cable Output - Is only currently working for sound. - Engineers are currently working on this problem.
Issues with video quality adjusting even when streaming via Wi Fi - Engineers are currently working on this problem.
Also, just to confirm, the app is still free to use for our Non Premium Users.
You just need to create a Free Account on the website and use that to log in through your iOS Device.

Just an update on the Looping / Restarting issue.
I've just talked with the engineers and we have pinpointed two distinct behaviors.
Looping - The video will play the first 1/2 minutes of the video then loop back to the beginning and only play/loop this portion of a video.
Restarting - The video will play fine for a period of time then attempt to change quality. When this happens it restarts the video.
We pushed a playlist fix yesterday around 11 PM Pacific to resolve the Looping issue.
If you are still experiencing the issue where the video loops the first few minutes of the video, please let us know.
We are still hard at work on the Restarting issue as well as other known issues. (Done button, HDMI, Airplay Interruption, Restarting)
