I have problems with the looping. Usually occurs anywhere from halfway through to the last 5min of episode.
Happens to 7 out of 10 episodes of anything I watch. A particular instance was during an episode of Poyopoyo.
Usually on wifi as my 3g generally results in unwatchable video/sound quality or freezing, but does occur with 3g as well.

The new app for crunchyroll is really bad there's advertisements every 5 damn min tell them to go back to the old version. The anime shows are now so boring u have to wait for show and the advertisements take most of the show time see if you can fix this Plz Fix this <~~~~~~~~ And y u updated it to this version of the app this a complaint.

In this new version should have like notification when new anime appear it doesn't have and forward video like sleep part :/

Ipod Touch 4 running on IOS 5.1.1 Jailbroken and using wifi. Played a few episode from my que including Tari Tari and fairy tail and the only problem I had was the looping while happened after 2-3 minutes of playing.

Love the new UI by the way, a much needed update.

Update: just tried the app on a more stable Internet closer to the exchange, and any of the looping I experienced before wasn't happening, could it be related to the connection speed/ping to the Internet

New version sucks. Crunchyroll seriously needs to look at the reviews they get from these new updates. Old Crunchyroll was the best, as the app itself old app was WAY better than the new app..

Love the new app. Much better UI and it's a lot faster (a big issue for me, since I'm still using iPhone 3)

Also --- in the old version, I'd often get video looping near the end -- the show would be nearing the end, then loop back to the beginning.

I don't see why we have to be doing the beta testing for them. It's not like there's lots of different possible configurations. It's an iOS device... Just turn on the app and press play. Can't the developers do this much themselves? I could see them asking about older devices with older versions of ios that aren't used as much but this app isn't working on the current modes and current version of ios.

I have the app on my iPad (the latest one) and I recently upgraded to the new app. One problem that persists is that sometimes, a video will stop part way through. On the old version, this is where it would loop to the beginning - now it just closes the video. When I try to reopen it, it won't let me. The last time this happened was Sword Art Online 11. Looping has been a problem that occurs pretty much every time I watch a video though.
Also, when I was watching Kokoro Connect 11, half way through the episode, the picture became all pixelated. I closed the app and opened it again and it was fine.

I hope HD came come to the iOS app soon. My laptop can't handle HD, but as I have a premium membership, it would be nice to be able to view it.

I am running the app over the wifi with my iPad 2 with iOS 5.1.1 and I get the episodes to work for about 3 mins then get the resolution change, then the episodes will do random things of either looping or just going completely black and stop playing all together. Have found that if I just close the app and click the app again without fully shutting the app down the video will play from where I left of, this happens every 3 mins into sword art online episodes and again at about halfway and sometimes about 5 mins from the end. Love the apps new design just annoying to keep restarting the app every 4-10 mins. This happens on all anime series I've watched ( naruto shippuden, bleach, sword art online and fate zero)

What just happened im a free user but the video quality just dropped after the updated and the ads just got ridiculously annoying. the membership is pricey and i understand that this is a business. But seriously this update sucks .

I've had the jump to the beginning problem on multiple episodes of Reborn and knight in the area.
iPad 2
iOS 5.1.1
WiFi
No particular place in the video. Never the same place twice.
I just now tried deleting the app and re-downloading but that didn't help.
It happens much more often when I'm in a place with a slow connection. Sometimes it goes to a very low resolution. I'd much rather it just pause playback while waiting to download.

I am having the quality bugs, the looping, and the app launch problem. I have these problems regularly thru WiFi or the 3g settings. I have a iPhone 3GS, OS version 5.1.1.
