i usually can tell the difference between chinese, korean and vietnamese people. for celebrities, i find it a lot easier to tell the difference between chinese, taiwanese, japanese and korean  |

Asian
There isn't really any way to tell what specific ethnicity they are just by looking at them. Sure you can classify them as "white, black, asian or hispanic" but you can't get any more specific than that.

I guess. Just call them Asian. I've been confused for all type of Asian, and Native American. I've been mistaken for Polynesian and Hispanic.

the best way to decipher is to buy Asian horror films, after watching three extremes and a lot of other short horrors from different Asian countries I can tell (: A lot of those didn't even look similar...

You are right. The different Asian ethnicities are different physically, but you must have a mind that has a higher level of awareness to discern the differences among the different Asian ethnicities. We are very different at the soul, mind, and body levels, but these differences can be motly subtle and sometimes extreme.
