@KaiserSosei: The second cour of SAO is nearly over, but it is one season. Season usually refers to one continuous airing even it is 2-cours. For ongoing series, it's more complicated.

EDIT: And I shall correct myself on SAO while I'm at it. It has averaged over 30k so far so I was understating its sales numbers.

Anyway, ANN has started their Winter Spotlights with Hakkenden . Kadokawa Shoten is shown as part of the anime committee, so I am not sure if it's a Kadokawa series or if someone else is handling the international distribution.

Here we go again.

Loved the first season back in 2003 (I was young), second season in 2005...disappointed that the protagonist didn't fall for the red head.
2007-2008 (I was in High school) D.C. II: Da Capo II and the second season...A love/hate relationship.

6 years after the mess I've seen, I can't wait to see the third (maniacal laughter) installment. COME ON, I CAN TAKE IT

If anybody wants to know, the OVA of Kuro to Kin Akanai Kagi will be released on February 28 and Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku OVA on December 21

Just because something runs 2 cour doesn't mean its 2 seasons. Just like most 25 ep anime this is one season. Thats why long running anime are so confusing when they are labeled as seasons.

GJ-bu is not a short.

New season looks okay. Mostly looking forward to Doki Doki Precure since it's the decade anniversary and I'm loving the character designs so far. Other than that, I might check out:

- OreShura - Blackmail storyline sounds interesting.
- Nekomonogatari - I like Hanekawa, but it looks like this will be focused on a lot of the other characters instead. Kind of disappointed that it's only 4 episodes, but happy that SHAFT can have a flexible episode count to work with.
- Sasami-san@Ganbaranai - I usually like SHAFT dramas (i.e. Madoka, ef) more than their comedies, but the artwork for this is looking beautiful, so I might check it out.
- Maoyuu - I actually prefer the anime art to the manga's. Looks more like the novel's, which looks really beautiful to me.
- Tamako Market - Doesn't really interest me yet, but I liked what KyoAni had been making for the past few seasons with Hyouka and Chuunibyou, so I'll give it a try.
- Haganai NEXT - Liked Haganai, will watch this eventually.
- Zettai Karen Children The Unlimited - Haven't seen ZKC, but want to. Spin-off with the villain sounds interesting.
- Chihayafuru 2 - I just want to see Chihaya get together with Taichi! Also, more Queen.

I've been looking forward to Savanna Game for a while now, I just hope it does get a release as not much is known about it as of now.
As well as the second season of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai There are also the odd new series I would be interested in giving a watch

Looking most forward to Savanna Game, Amnesia, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha and Cuticle Detective Inaba. 2013 seems like its gonna be a good year for anime

I'm just waiting for Chihayafuru 2.

Does anyone know when CR will post which shows they will get?

Probably mid way next week since the season starts in a couple of weeks.
