Cardfight!! Vanguard Asia Circuit (Season 2) is actually only has 2 episodes left, it's kinda weird seeing it as continuing simulcast. Maybe Crunchyroll has already planned to simulcast the 3rd Season as well?

I wonder when Crunchyroll gonna simulcast Aoi Sekai no Chushin de Episode 2, it's already confirmed going to be aired on 27th December 23:00 (UTC+9) at Tokyo MX channel in Japan. Maybe it will be announced sometimes on Monday or Tuesday (3 days before it airs like Saki Episode 13 announcement today).

Crunchyroll 1st simulcast for Winter season is Boku no Imouto wa "Oosaka Okan" : http://www.crunchyroll.com/osakaokan

News post: New Winter Titles: Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan” and Winter Specials!

I would imagine that Crunchyroll will simulcast the 3rd season since there isn't a break between seasons.

Glad to see that the last 3 episodes of Saki-Episode of Side A will be simulcasted too. I would also guess that Aoi Sekai episode 2 will be streamed pretty soon after it airs in Japan.

There are 10 boxes right now after the the Osaka Okan show. The publisher for that is BS Asahi. I guess since it's a short, Crunchyroll can get it from a satellite channel.

EDIT: The next ANN spotlight is Maoyu or Maoyuu Maou Yuusha . Feels like something Funimation would go for since it's similar to Spice & Wolf and the heroine(the Demon Queen) has huge boobs.

I note CR lists Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life as a catalog title, despite the fact they started streaming it before it completed airing. Given that it is 10-11 weeks behind when it aired on TV, however, they could hardly list it as a simulcast.

I see they also have a box for another new catalog title. Given the number that expiring at the end of the year, even with the catalog titles added this year, I'm not certain once the number of "pure" catalog titles increased or not this year. (By "pure", I am referring to those not originally acquired as simulcasts).

I also noted while updating the original message is that the number of short form titles this season is substantial. I didn't count them, but I get the impression there are at least a half dozen.

On Countdown's comment page, it states that "its status is currently "TBD"

Also, there's currently 22 series confirmed for Spring 2013... think it's time to for you to start the Spring 2013 thread before someone else get a jump on it. (especially since you're doing such a great job on these threads)

At this point, finding a (legit) chart to use is the challenge. I suppose I could whip up a simple one myself, but with my luck, someone else would release a better one the next day.

I've noticed that Neregate was lagging this time around, and Animucharts has been out of the game. It could be that both are suffering from "chart fatigue", much like Chartfag did. I did find a third chart source that seems to be a bit more active, but even they don't have a Spring 2013 chart yet.

On another matter, I noticed I forgot to include the availability info for Saki Episode of Side A, but since it is no doubt the same as before, I think I will wait a bit (probably until Monday) to add that.

Start off without a chart and add when available. When one group stop releasing charts, there's always someone else to carry on the works, as always.

I'll add my vote to TheAncientOne starting a Spring 2013 anime thread.

The latest ANN Winter Spotlight is on Vividred Operation . I thought for sure it would be Funimation but the Spotlight mentions that it is a Aniplex and Dengeki G collaboration. Maybe Aniplex of America keeps this in-house?

The spotlight segments never mention the actual R1 licensor so I wouldn't take that as a confirmation on anything. Aniplex was one of the producers in Japan so their simply being credited. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if Aniplex USA did get it but best not to jump to conclusions.

I'd expect it'll be Aniplex of America. It'll be the big hit of the Winter season in Japan most likely (its the most hyped title on almost every Japanese site and blog), and Aniplex is pumping a SAO type of marketing budget into it with all the advertisements all over Akiba and constant commercials.. so they value it quite a bit. I don't think they'd just hand it over to someone else to release.

I wasn't aware that it was as hyped as that but I guess it would make sense. It would seem like Nekomongatari(Kuro) would likely be the best selling thing though since the Monogatari series has sold like gangbusters so far.

The most recent ANN Spotlight is another Aniplex series OreShura. From what llamaben has said, it has the timeslot that a major Aniplex hit is usually in so I would think it may be another Aniplex of America one but who knows?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, but episode 1 of AKB0048 Next Stage was pre-aired by Niconico and has probably been fansubbed by now.

I'm so excited about Chihayafuru season 2! That's pretty much the only title I care about for this new season.

I will probably also follow the new KyoAni title Tamako Market though, just because.

FansubDB says that Episode 14 of Saki-Episode of Side A will air on AT-X on January 29th at 7 p.m JST. So Saki fans only have to wait another month for the next episode.

And the latest ANN Winter anime Spotlight is Puchimas
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/anime-spotlight/2013/winter/puchimas

I imagine that Crunchyroll will stream it since the Idolm@ster was and I have a hard time seeing a R1 company licensing it even though the episode count is like 64(with an episode per weekday release schedule). I would love to be able to see it on CR.
