NOTE: Savanna Game and Train Hero were removed from the series list, as they were elminated from the version 3.0 Neregate chart, and FansubDB and Countdown had eliminated them earlier. (Countdown never listed Train Hero for this season).

Wow, assuming the announced time is right Cuticle Detective Inaba's simulcast is based off the AT-X airing (+ Showgates regular 12 hour delay), so CR's stream is 2 and a half days before the first proper broadcast. If I'm not mistaken this is only the second time that CR has managed to do this for a full series, the first being Asura Cryin 2 (from TV Tokyo).

I find it interesting that it becomes available for free members about 12 hours after the first proper broadcast, rather than a week after it is available for premium members. I'm also glad that Oreshura and Maoyu both have only a two hour delay.

I've noticed that crunchyroll has gotten a lot of Tokyo MX shows so far (6 out of 9 known simulcasts):

Of these shows, Love Live is the only one with a significant delay, which is interesting. gdgd fairies is likely to be simulcast by Crunchyroll, though possibly through TV Tokyo, like the first season was.

I was surprised that Aniplex of America licensed Oreshura, since it doesn't seem to fit at all with their previous licenses, but I suppose that it is an Aniplex production.


I've been trying to figure out what Viz will get, but the only thing that would make sense to me is Vividred, and it seems like Funimation would get that, since they have Strike Witches. Anyone else have thoughts on Viz?

Edit: Just realized that Love Live may be delayed because of the NISA sublicense. I was very surprised that NISA picked up Love Live, because it really doesn't seem to fit their usual sort of shows.

I also noticed that the news post listed the 7th for Cuticle Detective Inaba becoming available to free members, but that the release calendar had it listed at the normal one week on the 11th. I had concluded that it was likely a typo in the news post, but I hadn't made the connection that it might be because the 7th was shortly after the first non-premium channel broadcast. I guess we'll know whether the news post or the calendar is correct by Monday at the latest.


For some reason, I feel like Vivired will go to either Viz or Aniplex. And if not that for Viz, the other possibility I thought Viz might get was Mondaiji-tachi, just based off the vibe that I got from its preview videos compared to Viz's past picks.

Since CR tends to not do weekend announcements, I imagine that Da Capo III, or Minami-ke Tadaima or Hakkenden or Senran Kagura (the first free-to-air version is 4 hours after the ATX airing) or Ishida to Asakura are all possible announcements before this weekend for them to be on time. AKB0048 Next Stage would be a big surprise, it would be the "I cannot believe they got it" of the season. Crunchyroll would also have until Monday afternoon to announce Amnesia or Zettai Karen Children-The Unlimited or Bakumatsu Roman

To be honest, 8 doesn't really seem like enough. I'm sure they will add more boxes, but you could just about reach 8 more with the sequels/likely simulcasts alone.

Looking at the preview, I see what you mean. Thinking back, I've realized that Viz tends to simulcast sci-fi action shows that don't star highschool girls, Lagrange and perhaps Accel World being the exceptions.

Mondaiji-tachi is produced by Diomedea, and the only show that they are listed as Animation Production for which is not on Crunchyroll is Polyphonica Crimson S.

Edit: Ishida to Asakura announced, but the time listed is about 12 hours before the Japanese premier.

It's ahead of the Tokyo MX airing. The official site also has a link to a nicovideo channel on the main page, and the schedule for that is unknown since the link doesn't work... There's a chance that the nicovideo premiere could be earlier than the TV broadcast, but I guess it's more likely that CR just made a mistake.

You and AncientOne should tell them and see if we get a better response than AN.

Fuzzytipsy already has. It's nothing new anyway, CR seems to announce at least one series with an incorrect streaming time every season but they always end up fixing it before they air.

YTV is the publisher so I think Ishida & Asakura's time is likely a day ahead of what it was supposed to be
