Countdown lists it as a Spring 2013 anime(that would make it 3 for Countdown under Spring). |

Also, 3rd season of Phi-Brain has been green-lit for 2013. Likely that will be a Spring 2013(or even a Fall 2013) series. But I would guess Spring more.

That's a theatrical film. Unfortunately CR doesn't get a lot of those -- I think 5 Centimeters Per Second and A Place Promised in Our Early Days are the only ones, and those are only on special occasions -- and without the series getting a domestic release I don't see anyone else picking it up, either.

Aside from being a theatrical film, it is also in March, which officially puts it into the spring 2013 anime season.
Winter anime are traditionally considered those starting in December - February (even though the actual season itself skews around 21 days later).

I wonder why Train Hero didn't happen in the spring (or did it?). Looking forward to Sasami-san@Ganbaranai, since it's SHAFT. Also very excited about Chihayafuru, if NISA would license it, everything would be perfect (it could never be dubbed, and it needs a blu-ray release).

Check the comments I listed for it, and you'll see the possible answer:
Comment: Also listed by FansubDB. This series was originally announced for the spring 2012 season, but as this is not listed as a second season, it was apparently rescheduled. This may be related to the similarities noted between it and a much earlier anime.
Click that "noted" link and look at the comparison video and you'll likely be shocked. I expect they either had to redo the series before TV Tokyo would (or could) accept it, or they had to license the rights to that earlier series (which by coincidence was also aired by TV Tokyo).
