Normally an available episode shows up in the "List of Available" episodes at the bottom. On the other hand, I do see a flash of video before it reports my IP as being in the United States. It says the time until the episode will become available, which is a little under 17 hours as of this post. Looks like it'll premiere tomorrow at 3:30pm. TotalPotato wrote: Also, Anime on Demand's video page for Sasami-san@Gambaranai says that it will start on Friday January 18th at 4:30pm. Thanks for the info on both. I'll need to update the initial message with those later. |

That's how they've handled these kind of backlogs in the past ~ they do them As Soon As Possible rather than post a schedule, where the schedule would have to have some wiggle room in it to allow for possible delays. I think in the end its the wiser approach: while it'd be nice to know for sure, sticking to a schedule set in advance would mean rolling them out slower than "ASAP" ... and its nicer to get them quicker. |

ANN: Funimation to Stream Senran Kagura TV Anime
The North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced on Friday that it will stream the Senran Kagura television anime series. (Note: link can only be accessed by Elite subscribers.) The site will begin streaming the first two episodes on Monday, January 14, and then subsequent episodes will be available on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. EST. pistolsaf wrote: LordBaka wrote: i just noticed so far funi has no wonter 2013 titles. did they give up or something? ... Funimation has a well-deserved reputation of being late with their simulcast announcements. We know that somebody licensed Senran Kagura from a Japanese tweet and since it is a "Boobs for the win" anime, I expect that Funimation will announce that very soon. "Swoosh", Nothing but net. Two points for pistolsaf. Maybe tomorrow so they can at least announce the same day as Haganai Next. I also fully expect that Funimation will stream the new Hetalia series since that is money in the bank for Funi. That would give Funi 5 simulcasts for Winter(2 continuing, and 3 new ones) and I expect that Funimation will make a bold push for around 8-10 in Spring For me, its once burned on expecting Funimation to make a bold push, twice shy, but when April swings around, we will see. |

That's what I get for not getting to the update until shortly before I go to bed. Thanks. I'll correct it with the next update, which should be later this afternoon or early evening. While I don't expect Funimation will announce any additional simulcast(s) until next week, I feel it would be prudent to wait a few hours. Funimation is probably going to make us wait for it. After all, both simulcasts they have announced have been well after the series premiered, so why not make it 3 for 3? |

Sentai has announced that they have licensed Amnesia . Not really surprised since Sentai seems to license at least one otome game adaptation a season.

Updates to initial message:
Added information on Chokkyuu Hyoudai Robot Anime (Straight Title Robot Anime) and Ganbare! Odenkun Changed "Announced Crunchyroll Simulcasts" to "Crunchyroll Simulcasts" as all have now premiered. TAN still has one simulcast yet to premiere, while AoD has 4 yet to premiere. None of the Funimation simulcasts have yet to premiere (although two are set to premiere tomorrow), and they are the only listed service that have yet to complete their simulcast announcements. The first two episodes of Senran Kagura are now available: http://www.funimation.com/senran-kagura/episodes As are the first 10 episodes of PUCHIM@S: http://www.funimation.com/puchims/episodes |

And Sentai continues its Winter crop of licensing(not that is a surprise) with their license announcement of Cuticle Detective Inaba
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-01-14/sentai-filmworks-adds-cuticle-detective-inaba-anime I imagine the usual "Sentai licenses too much" complaints will be forthcoming soon. |
