Updates to initial message:
Marked Funimation simulcast of Hetalia: The Beautiful World as premiered. Changed "Announced Funimation Simulcasts:" to "Funimation Simulcasts", as now have all premiered. Meanwhile, per their home page, AoD has yet to premiere 3 of their simulcasts. |

SHAFT fans should love that Crunchyroll got both seasons of Arakawa Under the Bridge as a Catalog title. Like the other recent NISA offerings, only the first six are free while the rest are Premium Members only.

For that matter, since Hulu free offers up to 480p, they might want to go there anyway if they are viewing on a computer. It seems a bit odd to restrict a series that is available in full elsewhere to only the first 6 episodes. (Although either way you slice it, this should make viewers in Canada happier). I note CR also lists 4 more announcements (one for tomorrow, another for the next day, and two for the first of February). |

I had already seen it on the Launch Calender, but Crunchyroll also put Episode 14 of Saki-Episode of A in the same topic as the Arakawa announcement in the Site News Forum
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-790361/new-catalog-titles-arakawa-under-the-bridge-and-episode-14-of-saki I wouldn't be surprised if one of the 4 upcoming announcements is the first season of AKB0048 (which would likely have the same availability as the second season). I have also a feeling about Sentai providing Psychic Squad (Japanese title: Zettai Karen Children) North America only to compliment the prequel/spin off that is currently being simulcast. |

Although it would make people happy that have been waiting for it, I hope they don't count the first 13 episodes of Little Busters! as one of those announcements. As it would be completing a title they already have, I assume it would be treated the same way as the episode 14 announcement for Saki - Episode of Side A.

Today's catalog title annoucement is Ghastly Prince Enma Burning Up
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-790467/new-catalog-titles-ghastly-prince-enma-burning-up That's another NIS America title, and both that and Arakawa both had their standard editions released yesterday so I suppose to market those NIS America decided to make them available to Crunchyroll. Odd that it got a Site News topic but not anything in the News section. EDIT: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2013/01/30-1/crunchyroll-adds-ghastly-prince-enma-burning-up-to-anime-catalog Premium Members will get all 12 episodes right away when it lauches. Free members will get the first two today, and they'll keep adding two for them per week. I also noticed that that the only NIS America title that got a Standard Edition that isn't on Crunchyroll is Our Home's Fox Deity. |

It turns out I was thinking of Demon Prince Enma, which appears to have been a serious version with the same characters. It also has the distinction of being the last anime I started on DVD from Netflix (back in May 2011). |

And today's catalog title is not an anime. And pretty yawn-inducing to me(it's Adult Swim-type Western animation)
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-790621/new-catalog-titles-spike-mikes-sick-and-twisted-animation I really hope that tomorrow's announcements are much better.(EDIT: Looks like they'll only be one announcement tomorrow, and one on Monday February 4th) |

I just noticed that TAN has scheduled to start releasing Little Busters with episodes 1-2 on Feb 12, following up with two episodes every week (and being available to guests). I wonder if CR will be following a similar release pattern for the first 13 episodes.
EDIT: Our Home's Fox Deity is today's catalog title. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-790743/new-catalog-titles-our-homes-fox-deity-little-busters-1-13 And they answer the question of Little Busters episodes 1-13 release schedule. CR is releasing 2-3 episodes per week starting Feb 2nd, so it looks like they're not following TAN's pace. |

A TBD box got added to New Simulcasts. Given there is an announcement on Monday and it would seem to be more of a catalog title, A.) the box is in the wrong location, B.) It's something like the Kokoro Connect Specials or Nekomonogatari(Black) so it's still really new and already aired or C.) It's something like Aikatsu!, Gyrozetter or Tanken Drilland or even GJ-bu.

Given that they listed Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life as a catalog title even though they posted the first episode before the last one aired, it would be strange if they now listed something as a simulcast that had already completed airing. |

AKB0048's one week delay compared to the first showing in Japan seems to be hurting its views here. I seem to be the only one who has viewed it, at least the only one to rate and comment on it and it came out almost an hour ago... gotta fight for a closer simulcast and if you are watching it elsewhere, please watch it for 30s here to give it some proper views!
